We purchased a Stoudts Stollen from our local Farmer's Market the week of Christmas and thought the bread was stale. The filling of nuts and fruits was very sparse that could not be tasted in every bite. There was more confectioners sugar topping than bread. I remember the Stollen we purchased last year from Stoudts bakery made with beer marzipan was excellent. What happened?? Very disappointed customer.
Had a great time here. Food was yummy, if your worried about your parking well don't be they have plenty of space
The restaurant has good food. The building was very cute; like a doll house, as others have mentioned. My husband and I had a flight of the craft beers, and they were pretty good. I had a burger and fries and they were very good. Our friend's order wasn't correct and she had to ask twice to get lemons. We recommend but the service could be improved.
I got lost and got hungry at the same time..So I decided to check out this little dollhouse looking restaurant..It was really cute and full of ambiance. Jason was my waiter, and took the time to engage in conversation, which isn't always the case when you're alone. The food was delicious, and the creme brulee was amazing..thanks for a great dining experience...
Stoudts Brewery is located in Adamstown near the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Their restaurant offers a good selection of beers – with nice options for lunch. We all liked the sausage sandwich. The service is friendly and efficient.
Great food, great beer and attentive and friendly service. The shrimp from the raw bar were huge and tasty and the filet mignon was delicious.
We stopped in for lunch while out and about junk shopping in the area. The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated right away, our server was pleasant and service was pretty good. We started off with a few cold beers and a large soft pretzel that we shared, followed by a few hamburgers and some German sausage, all were very good, except for the potatoe salad, not my favorite could do without it. Would love to have a couple of the Antique Stines linning the walls.
I love the elegant decor, including lovely antiques and private booths. The menu and our food superb, as was the service. My only qualification is that, while this has many of the characteristics of a fine restaurant, it is crossed with a rowdy bar. We happened to be there on karaoke night, and while our table was fairly far from that area we couldn't help but hear the off-key singing, yells of encouragement, and applause. My husband and I, celebrating our wedding anniversary, both ordered a plate of three sausages: bratwurst, knockwurst, and chef's choice. My husband enjoyed the sauerkraut and apples (prepared much the same way). I requested potatoes and vegetables instead. The waitress assured me that would be no problem, and I was pleased with my choices. Not surprisingly, the beer menu is extensive and my husband was pleased with his choice. If not for the bar noise, it would have been an excellent evening.
The staff we encountered was quite nice. However, when we were seated in the booth I noticed a musty odor and then the menus we were given were sticky to touch. I guess that should have been a clue on the quality. I ordered the Zucchini Chips ("Zucchini picked daily from our garden, panko-crusted with pesto). I expected something like fried pickle slices that I have eaten at many other restaurants, so I guess it is my fault for not inquiring.....the zucchini chips were really a 3 large slices of zucchini heavily covered in breading and darkly deep fried. There really was no flavor even when I peeled off the breading just to eat the zucchini they were tasteless. Additionally the zucchini was served with tomato sauce and not pesto. I also ordered the Local Corn Fritters which, when I asked, the waitress described them as similar to fluffy hush puppies. Sad to say, the corn fritters were also heavily covered in breading and so over-fried that all I could taste was grease. For the main dish I ordered the Trio of German Sausages. The kielbasa was burned, the bratwurst was under-cooked, and I am not entirely sure what the third sausage was but at that point I was not interested in asking. Maybe German food is not for me but we will not be returning to this place.
Aeesome bread

A very family friendly place to eat. Food was really good. Waitresses were friendly. Steaks was very mouthwatering and very good.
We definitely had the sense that we were in a place used to much larger crowds, due to how quiet and large the restaurant was. Alison took great care of us and we were able to enjoy some really fast and thoughtful service. The apps (zucchini yumminess AND a pretzel) were great. Both the salmon and the sausage dish were lovely, the wine selection was very nice (we took a bottle home) and the carrot cake was amazing.
Wait staff very attentive. I ordered the Smoked Beef Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich. What a treat. We are not in Adamstown very often for dinner so the Sunday lunch is just about our only opportunity. Loved it !!
