We are from Collegeville and figured we would check out the Alburtis Tavern. Very nice inside and lean. I just love old buildings and taverns. We stopped for a drink . And had a great conversation with the awesome bartender Brandi. Very friendly and told us about the history of the place. Some other patrons were having lunch, and the plates looked very nice and nice portions. Definitely will be back for at least lunch
Food & drinks were rather disappointing. The lettuce in our salads tasted like it was old and going bad. Both our drinks, which were mixed cocktails seemed watered down and rather tasteless.

The attention to detail here is meticulous, the customer service phenomenal, the bar is really well preserved, the inside temperature nice & cool (on a summer day)! It's an admirable historic building with live music & specials on certain nights (*see pictures*)! Blow off some steam at The Alburtis Tavern! ? ?
