We ordered and it was incredible š„. Best meal Iāve had in years! Had Tuscan Salmon š£ with asparagus cooked to perfection was jasmine rice and baked potato. So good! Portions good, prices good, menu is extensive for anyone.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars but it would also not be fair to rate it lower than 4 as my wife and sons food were very good.
I am guessing maybe just random details that were over looked:
We ordered the fried shrimp which was good (shrimp a bit salty) and the rice was great. My sons chicken tenders were overcooked and dry. His garlic toast was burnt.
On the other hand I ordered the steak & shrimp(tad bit salty). steak was cooked perfectly (medium) fried and Mac&Cheese... the mac tasted smokey and not in a good way.. it clearly burnt and stuck to the bottom of a pot and it gave it that distinctive smokey burnt taste.
We will be giving it another try and hopefully this feedback encourages attention to those details. Unfortunately we didn't realize all of this till we got home and ate.

LORD!!!!!!!! This place is the absolute best restaurant Iāve had since moving to Hopewell. How I lived here for A WHOLE YEAR and not try this I donāt know. Will make this a weekly thing. Everything is good. The people work there are hard workers. Give me a shirt I need more people trying this! Price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. Imma say buy to my diet for the foreseeable future lol

Burnie's has become a take out staple for our family! It's consistent, fantastic, and made with love... The Cajun Chicken Alfredo is my hard core favorite, with the Cheesesteak coming in a close second!

I saw a friend order the Mandela fries from Burnieās once and always said one day I had to get them. I ordered those and the Haddock Fish sandwich and they were both so so so good! The fish sandwich was pretty big and I couldnāt even finish it. The fries were delicious. Will definitely be ordering again.
Some of the best soul food Iāve tasted in my 47 years hands-down everything Iāve had from this place has not disappointed yet

Delicious, home cooked feel food. This place never disappoints! I order lunch and dinner here all the time. Food is amazing! A few weekends ago, we used them for catering a family birthday party. Everything was amazing, great sized portions, and even helped me pick a menu that made sense for the attendees. If I could give more stars I would.
All the sauces here are delicious as well, make sure to they them all!
Vegetarian options: You can get their protein rice bowls with no meats, just veggies. And many delicious forms of potatoes without meat.
