We love this buffet! We have been eating here for years and have enjoyed every visit. The owner is very friendly, always says hello and asks how we are doing. The buffet offers a great selection and variety and is very satisfying!

Wow, great service and good food. I was amazed that this strip mall buffet was so good. They pack their three buffet tables with all items they can fit. Food was being brought out and tended to consistently. You could see the steam coming off the food. I had to wait for my soup to cool down a little to eat it. No Luke warm food here. They even have 6 flavors of scoopable ice cream. We can't wait to come back. Everything was delicious.

Great spot. Not overly crowded the 4 times I've been there. Food gets refilled in good time. Variety is great!! Just wish the temperature of mushroom dishes were a bit warmer. They have ice cream to scoop also.

We've been here twice. I feel bad giving this ranking because the first time it was a lot better but today it wasn't good. I don't recommend the sushi or the fried shrimp. The fried shrimp needed the poop vein cut out still so I didn't want to eat it. The ice cream I also don't like that it's self serve. I think it's a little unsanitary. Either the staff should serve it or there should be individual serving cups not everyone digging in. The noodles were greasy too. I unfortunately won't be returning.

First time here and I ordered online. Food was super hot and fresh. I got chicken lo mein and the spring rolls and both DELICIOUS. I can’t wait to go back and try the buffet.

My family and I decided to eat here, after seeing such great reviews. Unfortunately, this will not be one of them. We came in around dinner time(I think like 5pm) and all of the food was cold. I honestly couldn't even finish the food on my plate because I was so scared I was going to get food poisoning, or some other food borne illness, from it not being kept at a higher temp and me not having any idea when it was put out. I will not be eating here again after this.

Best Chinese buffet we’ve had so far in Pittsburgh since moving here 2 years ago. The staff is very personable and attentive in what’s a very intimate, cozy atmosphere. Best of all, it’s very clean inside and each dish was extremely fresh and flavorful. Some of the best texture of crab rangoon and egg rolls I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Another perk is this is the only buffet I’m aware of that’s open until 11pm, makes a great late-night Friday lent option because the rice, pasta and seafood are solid. You can tell this is a quality neighborhood spot because a lot of locals in aliquippa came in and were ordering boxes of food to go by the pound. Plus one of the staff members went out of her way to tell us if we want them to make anything new or fresh simply ask. Oh, and try the grand central station ice cream at the end. Wont regret it 🙏

Omg this is one of THE BEST Chinese places I have found anywhere and I work in Pittsburgh and nothing anywhere is as good as New China Buffet.
I’m very picky about my lo mein and was not disappointed. Lots of meats and veggies everywhere and the spring egg rolls were SO good and crunchy I could’ve had 10 of them lol
When I walked in to pick up my food the atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing that I kinda wished I didn’t order pick up and chose to dine in instead. Staff were very nice and friendly and the prices are not even comparable to any other Chinese place for the portion sizes you get…$11 for a quart of house special lo mein and &1.50 for 2 spring egg rolls, I’m so thrilled it was reasonably priced and I got A LOT. I’m SO happy I found this place as I will now be a regular forever.

Looking for something other than a hamburger and this place was recommended to me. Ordered side of beef fried rice, shrimp and extra sauce. Food was delicious with generous portion size and person who waited on me very friendly.
