Food was well prepared, and brought out in a timely manner. Good proportions for the price. Their policy on beverage refills is not on par with other diners in the area however. Desserts are off the chart and a must have. Response to owners inquiry: your menu very clearly states there is only one free refill on coffee, tea and soda; this is not a policy that is duplicated in any other local diners we have been to which all offer unlimited free refills.

They still have the original hometown diner atmosphere. The salad bar is a big highlight in the diner. A lot of the meals come with soup, salad, vegetables, potatoes. The prices are cheap and the portions are big. The employees are attentive and knowledgeable.

So I ordered an egg sandwich with pork roll and on my second to last bite I found this enormous long hair in my scrambled egg. I told the waitress who took it back in the kitchen and brought back a little piece of something telling me it was grizzle. Ok diner staff I live on eggs and know what grizzle looks like....that was a flipping HAIR. Good luck to all that eat there wish you the best of luck!

Quite disappointed overall. Food servings were large and menu was expansive (both pluses and the only reason this gets 3 stars) but the quality of what comes out of the kitchen was pretty bad. Only one of the four of us finished the meal. We would have eaten more but it was just too tasteless - eg over cooked and dried out eggs, , the server didn’t care and really didn’t add any value to our experience. Not coming back.
Ordered steak and eggs to go. Steak was really tastelss, thin and fatty. So much water was built up under it. I was not impressed for the price of the item.

So glad we discovered this diner. We had navigated to the nextdoor restaurant and noticed that this place was super busy so we followed the crowd. Wide variety and very good tasty food. Good portions too.

Exceptional service and food
Typical diner experience, but the food was delish! We, two, shared a breakfast Sammy and an apple dumpling. We'll go back! Convenient to you the airport and downtown.
I love coming here and truly appreciate the food. Today I went again, (I had the waitress with the gauges), super sweet lady and look forward to coming back. Took care of me and my grandparents. Food is always good, NOT overpriced, service was quick and even the gentleman that greets you seems personable.
Large variety of different foods.

The only thing I do wish, is if it was open 24/7 but I get that in this area that may not go over well. Also, can you have pepper pot more often?
I'll be back again soon with the family.
Quirky local joint with plenty of personality and great gyros-- all you could want in a diner!
