Extremely disappointed with the food at this restaurant. We were so excited to celebrate our kids finishing the school year with excellent grades, and chose BJs because of their pizza special night. The Deep dish pizza ( nothing like a deep dish pizza by the way) was so dry, with so little sauce and had no flavor! The only good thing was my son’s steak. Waiter did not even mention the half off was ONLY on Larger pizza. We overpaid, which shouldn’t have been the case had she taken the time to explain! Never again are we returning!
If I could give my server 10 stars, I would! I've eaten here plenty of times, but last night was the best experience I've had. Highly recommend the prickly pear hard lemonade also!
We went Friday night at busy time. It was very full, but were seated upon entry.
We had ordered a Margarita Flight and was told they were unavailable. It was kind of disappointing since you could order a full-size drink of the same kind of drink.
I ordered a Spicy Mango Margarita, and my wife ordered a Strawberry Margarita. We both agreed the spicy mango was delicious, and both ordered a second.
First, we got salads, Mozzarella Tomato, and a wedge salad. The arugula on the Mozzarella tomato salad was very wilted with no body, yet the overall salad flavor was good.
Next, we got a tray of loaded nachos to share. The number of chips was abundant to the amount of toppings. For being loaded nachos, we would've wanted more toppings and fewer chips.
Our entree that we shared was the Jambalaya. This has been one of my favorites at the restaurant. Not ordering it for a while, I noticed the rice had changed. Not that the rice was bad, but the ratio to Jambalaya was a bit much. There was probably twice as much rice to Jambalaya. It used to be the other way around.
I feel the overall food was a step down than prior visits. Between the wilted Arugala, the lack of toppings on the nachos, and the excess rice to Jambalaya.
The food was good along with the service, just not earning the 5 stars this time.
Outstanding service and great selection of drinks and food. Dinner was delicious!!
Nothing special just a chain.
Most ignorant server at bar today 5/22/25 as we went for nice lunch and wasted $40 and our time
. They don't serve food together and as a paying customer don't appreciate attitude from server.
Well sorry to say another bad experience with BJs
I live local to this restaurant and have only been there 3 times ..each of those times the food was substandard
From cold soup to stale bread on there sandwiches
Unfortunately I was given a gift card this past January from a friend..
I couldn't say I don't eat there and accepted it graciously..
Gave BJs one more shot today snd again a total fail
Waited 40 min for a take out order after I was told 10 -15min ..I said something tovthe manger as I left late for work and he blew it off
After getting to work to find the driest Cole slaw less than half filled container
There version of a French dip not even close..the roll crumbled from being old or in freezer who knows
As a retired 43 yr master bartender and server I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
NOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE REST OF THIS GIFT CARD !!!!
Isabel M is amazing. She was attentive, detail oriented and so friendly. I was traveling from DC to Allentown for my niece's graduation. My journey was not without perils. I searched Google for restaurant stops between where I was and the hotel. I saw BJ's on the way and remembered the wonderful experience I had in Melbourne, FL. Isabel made me so comfortable and her Grand Patron Margarita is par none. Thank you Isabel for giving this weary traveler an awesome experience!
Went for Mothers Day lunch, arrived at 11:30 am and when we went to order a combo with the sirloin steak, we were told they were sold out of sirloin steak and there was no substitutions so therefore no combos.... Sold out 1/2 hour after opening???? How disappointing, otherwise service was great and food was very tasty
BJ's is a great restaurant for all occasions and gatherings. Their menu is very diverse and yummy! I love how you can take their beer to go, as we are not from around there, so I can bring some home with me. My kids love the pizookies and the deep dish pizza which we cannot get anywhere around us.

Our server, Luna, made our evening great! My daughter and I were there for dinner celebrating her birthday. From the moment she made her introductions to us, to the end of our dinner when she was saying “Have a great night!” we had personalized attention. She asked us questions about our food and drink preferences, made suggestions, and we even had a friendly debate about an Italian conundrum that's been around forever. Luna was amazing, and the next time we eat there, we will request to be seated in her section!
We ordered appetizers and drinks. The sliders were warm, the fries were cold, the nachos were cold, stuck to the dish and difficult to share, the pot stickers were rubbery, the flat bread pizza was the warmest but the crust was floppy. The food may have been good had it been served at the correct temperature. $125 is lot to spend for a subpar meal. Probably not on our go to list for drinks and apps.
Loved the calamari and the Wedge salad w steak, was tender & very tasty! Lively restaurant and nice waiter
This was the second time we dined here and it will be the last. Food was average at best, wait times for food, desserts, and the check were longer than other restaurants we have eaten at, and the prices were too high for the quality of the meals. While our server was very nice, kind, and friendly, she didn't return to our table often. Overall, not an experience that we want to repeat.
Out Server was great and was on top of the food making sure our daughter had no cross contamination for her celiac disease
