During my first time there,I was impressed by the food choices and preparations as well as the excellent service. Unfortunately, my second visit was extremely disappointing. We were initially seated at an uncomfortable high top table in the noisy bar area so we asked if we could be seated in the main dining room. The server told us we weren't in the bar (okay, we weren't actually seated AT the bar) and she begrudgingly moved to the main dining room which was much more...
We came back for a repeat - we were here last year at around the same time and not disappointed in the least this time. We had the filet mignon and the duck breast, both very nicely garnished, as well as the chicken rice mushroom soup. The True Grit wine went well with both main dishes. And Alison was a great server. I guess we are making this restaurant an annual habit, whenever we are in the area.
