I don’t typically rate, but my experience here was so backwards I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.We managed to put in an order at their self service kiosk which has crudely written instructions on masking tape with marker. The receipt printed out with a QR code that let us pay for our order using our mobile, which we did.35 minutes later I politely ask the cook working the line, “hey, do you think you can check to see if you’re making number ## for me?”. To which he replies “no. Did you pay for it?” - sure did - “well it didn’t print out so you must not have payed. Do you have a receipt?” - sure do - “well you didn’t see the cashier so it didn’t print out. It says you have to see the cashier.” So I ask him to just refund it. He says give him a minute. Whatever no problem.Mind you there are two people working this stand. The gentleman who I’m addressing and another woman working the line.Upon examining our receipt I see it clearly printed on the bottom “if using CASH please see cashier. Orders will not be made until paid in full.”. So while I’m waiting for my refund I address this finding with the gentleman who proceeds to give me a million reasons why it’s anyones fault but his. It’s Squares fault cause the POS is bad. It’s the Allentown Markets fault cause they force us to use this system. I don’t have any control over that. You should have followed the instructions. People complain about this system all the time here what do you want me to do? Anything but it being his fault, or responsibility that this food (THAT WAS PAYED FOR USING THEIR SYSTEM) isn’t being made.Long story short, this is a man and a business that does not care about the customer experience or interaction, and I fully believe does not have the pride nor experience to work 5 checks at a time and juggle being this mystery cashier that we’re supposed to talk to upon ordering at a self serve kiosk. What a disappointment, and has turned us off to the already dead Allentown Market in general.Btw…. 45 minutes into the ordeal I finally got my refund from the gentleman who since informed me that he was the manager/owner after having to instruct him once again which order was ours.- I’ve added photos of the receipt with payment instructions. Since it was implied I didn’t follow the instructions properly. Btw, Square doesn’t just automatically add these instructions to the receipt. Someone has to manually input these directions. Since it seems to be no one’s fault.

We are new to the area and grabbed some take out from La Kang for dinner tonight. From the moment we opened the containers, we knew it was going to be amazing! Everything smelled amazing, but the taste was even better. One of the best dinners we’ve ever had!

The drunken noodles with steak and house lemonade were absolutely delicious and really fair priced for what I got. The atmosphere at "the Market", where this is located inside of, is vibrant and fun, as are the owners who take great care of their customers. Would recommend.

Have been many times. Freshest ingredients EVERY time. It does not get any better than this. Fantastic staff!!!

The food was not bad, but for take out, the packaging was absolutely atrocious. I got take out and mind you I knew that I got curry and needed to be careful. THEY PACKAGED THE SALAD WITH THE CURRY! So the salad was completely soaked by the green curry. The salad was INEDIBLE. Also the rice portion was sooooo small! The curry was a decent portion for lunch but the rice was literally like 2 heaped tablespoons. Curry and rice should be matched for a better eating experience. Soup was ok, I think it was not very flavorful, I could live without it but I guess it's a nice addition for a lunch special. If you eat in here I'm sure it would've been a better experience, but I have to rate it based on what I got as take out which was disappointing.

The flavor at this place is great! I'd give 5 stars if my pad cashew had a single cashew in it and wasn't primarily onions. Other than the complete lack of cashews the dish was flavorful.

I ordered the chicken and shrimp drunken noodles and they were one of the best I had. I’m comparing to the drunken noodles I had in nyc. The chicken is halal! They use jumbo prawns. Owner is super friendly and kind! I loved the food. I’d definitely come back and try other stuff.

The food is incredible, BUT - I ordered online and paid for a full entree, and only got the lunch special once I got the food back to my desk. The lunch special is cheaper, so I feel duped for paying full price and getting 1/3 of the amount of entree I ordered.
