Nowhere Coffee Co. - West End

The Hey Matcharena rivals the best matchas I've had in LA and NYC. Every time I visit Nowhere, I have the best teas, including chai and London Fog, which is so nice for us "tea people" who aren't into coffee but found Nowhere through our coffee-loving friends. I will be back for this matcha, and the lovely staff, time and again.

My husband (a coffee/espresso disliker) had the “best coffee drink of his life” there with their version of a dirty chai. I had a phenomenal chocolate croissant and mocha raspberry latte. Great little find!

The drinks were good. We ordered a black coffee and one of their speciality matcha drinks. The matcha was great and had a nice flavor especially mixed with their flavored syrups. The atmosphere was cozy and had a fun vibe.

I’m a little hesitant to post anything negative due to some of the owners responses…but if I’m giving my honest OPINION, what was a bit disappointing was their food. For something called “the egg sandwich experience” and cost almost $10, I would expect a sandwich that at least used real egg - this one had the taste and texture of pre cooked microwaved eggs.

I would give them a second chance in the future and return for the drinks, but would skip out on their food.

Fantastic latte!!! And the barista is amazing and her artistic talent is second to none! Each layer of foam is like a blank canvas!! Six stars all around!!!

I visited this coffee shop over the weekend and tried both the chai latte and the lavender honey latte—both were excellent! The flavors were well-balanced, and the quality of the coffee was definitely a highlight.

However, the experience was a bit frustrating. There was a long line, and I ended up waiting around 15-20 minutes, which felt excessive. While I understand weekends can be busy, it seemed like the shop could use a better system for handling the rush.

The biggest downside, though, was the atmosphere. The furniture inside is extremely old and worn out—the couch, in particular, looked like it came from a garage sale and had seen better days. On top of that, the place wasn’t very clean, which made it hard to fully enjoy the cozy café vibe they’re probably going for.

Overall, great coffee, but the ambiance and cleanliness need serious improvement. If they freshen up the space and work on efficiency, this place could be a real gem!

Juan and Lauren have been nothing but wonderful to my family and I throughout our continued business with them. The food is great, the coffee is the best in the valley I'd say, and they're all such great people. Dropping this little bit if love for nowhere after seeing so many negative comments over common sense issues that should never have occurred. I can't recommend Nowhere Coffee Co. enough!!!!

Nowhere coffee is not only an incredible place for a cold brew (I love the seasonal ones, truly incredible) but a great place to find a family and home. The owners are delightfully kind and supportive of everyone including the local arts community and the people who work there are funny, quick on their feet and always have a kind word to say. This isn't just a business, it's a home. Especially if you go to the after hours events.

Hips Don't Chai is what I got, which is a chai latte with salted caramel syrup. I had them add an espresso shot to make it a dirty chai, and my word, this drink is amazing! Like others have stated, it feels a bit pricy but they were busy so I guess it speaks for itself!

My friend and I, who I have not seen in a long time, came into this coffee shop and began catching up. We fully intended on ordering something but were not given the chance when the owner came over and berated us for not ordering anything yet. She was not kind, nor polite, she was simply rude making us both feel targeted and no longer welcome in the establishment. After she walked away, we left. I would not never go there again which is unfortunately as I love indy coffee shops.

I’ve been coming to Nowhere since they opened and they are always so welcoming and friendly! The vibe is cozy and chill and the drinks are so creative and delicious! If you need a drink, stop on by and support the best local coffee shop :)

I have been an avid supporter and patron of this establishment since it opened. I’ve raved about it on social and to friends and I’ve bought tons of coffee and food and loved it all. Today I mindlessly walked in carrying my leftover morning Starbucks coffee to finish last few sips before ordering lunch and afternoon coffee from NoWhere. Within minutes, owner approaches to ask if she can remove the outside beverage as that is their policy. I apologize and say no problem. This made total sense to me. Two minutes later she returns to loudly berate us for not having ordered yet and bringing the drink in. I never spoke and couldn’t get a word in. It was unacceptable behavior. She could have asked a question about what happened, she could have simply asked if we planned to order or reminded us to…as this was absolutely our plan like we always do. Instead she chose quite possibly the rudest approach I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. We left and I sure hope it was worth our ongoing patronage, gift card buying, community advocating to treat us this way over a simple mistake and our compliance immediately with her request. Unbelievable and not something I will ever support again. We could all use a little grace, and not one of us deserves to be so utterly disrespected without even a question or conversation. Please don’t ever espouse your inclusive or community oriented space and values again if that’s your level of tolerance or problem solving.

Very beautiful and cozy place. The coffee is great and they have an amazing variety of different kinds of beverages!! Their pastries and sandwiches are also great and the overnight oats to die for!!!! I do wish the service was a little better. Sometimes come off as cold and in a rush. Would definitely recommend.

Service continues to fall short. Perhaps attributable to rapid turn around the staff. Additionally , I’m baffled how a business never answers their phone calls despite publishing a phone number. If no one ever plans on answering calls, then create an outbound message that messages are not monitored.
