I’m from NYC where we love our BEC and they make good ones here and now they added chopped cheese to the menu I’m getting them whenever I can and the prices are on point as well as the food the staff is cool definitely a great place for food

We live in the west Allentown neighborhood and I never knew this place existed. Boy, am I glad I finally decided to try it out! Might be my new favorite lunch spot! I had the Italian hoagie, the meats and cheeses were cut to order and I also got a small bowl of the chicken corn chowder both were excellent! I will be back soon, if you haven’t found this gem look no further, go in and try it today you won’t be disappointed!The staff was also attentive and very friendly.

I went to the spot in the farmers market and the guy there did not just give me a very bad attitude but also insulted my technical expertise. everyone who knows me knows I keep up to date with the latest technology so people usually come to me for technical advice. I have Google and Samsung pay on my phone and the guy said "we never tried it before" and I said let's give it a try than but he refused. the place I get my raw goat milk, the first time I gone there he said he didn't know if he took it or not (a humble man) but he still gave it a try because he is a good business man who knows how not to lose a sell. now he has a weekly customer because he listened to me. in 2012 when I worked at McDonald's everyone including the higher managers and owner didn't know they could accept Google pay (3 years before Apple pay) but they learned because I tried it. I am going to be writing an news article about businesses that refused to try Google, samsung, and Apple pay without trying and those who said no but tried anyway and were proven wrong. businesses like this is another reason I got into journalism to get the truth out.

Besides preparing outstanding food selections, the folks at O’Brien’s are very simply the kind of persons who make your life better merely by knowing them. Starting with Hugh, Ellen, Lori, & Patrick and continuing through the entire staff, your day will be a good one just by stopping in the cafe or at the fairgrounds. I’m new to the area, so when I saw an Irish restaurant, I had to stop in and I’m glad I did so! I haven’t had a good, home cooked Irish meal since my grandmother passed away. I wish she was still with us so I could bring her here to eat, but I’ll definitely be taking my father here when he comes to visit me. As soon as I walked in, Hugh greeted me and made me feel more than welcome. We joked about the sign on the wall saying “Irish no need to apply” and talked about our Irish heritage. I had the grilled cheese with a cup tomato orzo soup and it was spot on! Can’t say a single negative thing about this establishment. (And I’m not just saying that because I’m Irish) ☘️Definitely will return!
