Went tonight. Food was bad…ordered Tacos Al Pastor and have ZERO idea of how they managed to even actually make Al Pastor with little to no flavor given that it’s a marinated style taco meat, but alas… here we are. Service was god awful. Completely forgot our table-side guac until AFTER meals arrived. The guac guy finally arrived, then wasn’t even made table-side. It was made BEHIND us between the two aisles of tables, as opposed to actually anywhere AT our table. While you might think that would be the worst of it, you’d be wrong. Apparently it’s location policy to blow whistles at top volume -to the point where it shrieks so loud the entire Resteraunt echoes with the sound while singing “Happy Birthday” to patrons. I live with a panic disorder stemming from PTSD, and was immediately sent into a triggered panic event. I had to leave immediately ,eating only 1/4 of my meal. When my husband returned to pick his parents up from the Resteraunt ( after having to drive me home shaking and in tears), it took over 20 minutes for the waitstaff to bring the check . When a a manager was asked for It took an additional 10 minutes to “find” a manager, who then was flippant about the entire experience. I will not be returning.

We LOVE this place. We have never ever had a bad experience here. The food is always fresh and service is quick! This is our go to spot now, even if it means driving 2 hours to go there. The best ever!!

I got the burrito deluxe and coconut watermelon drink, and the were very tasty, the fresh guacamole is really good too😋

Went on a Thursday night for dinner. our server didn’t even give us her name but she was short with blonde hair worse experience, bad attitude she didn’t even bother to ask or to give us a refill on our drinks.we had to ask a gentleman for more drinks and napkins!!! She didn’t show up for about 10 minutes. We saw the manager but she was on her cell phone she was tall with black long hair and glasses!!!! I’m assuming that was the manager!!! Plus my server was on her cell phone, no wonder!!!!
Fantastic food here better than wyomissing!!!! I give it a 5 star for the food.

I recently just went to dine in on a Saturday night and while the food was excellent the service did not meet my liking . The moment I was sat down my server wasn’t very welcoming to us, I tired to make small talk with her to lighten up the atmosphere but she seemed very uninterested which was rude. She rarely came over to check on my table and always seemed to be in a rush when she did which was surprising because the restaurant wasn’t so busy. I went to use the restroom and there was my server leaning against the sink on her cell phone. Who even knows if that lady washed her hands when she went back to serving her tables!!!!!! Just a heads up this lady was short and blonde!! Hopefully if any other family gets this server their experience is better than mine!

The food and drinks at this restaurant were fantastic, but unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. While the dishes were flavorful and the cocktails were expertly crafted, the waitstaff seemed disorganized and inattentive.Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, it took forever for us to get any attention, and our server (Mitzi) seemed overwhelmed and uninterested. It's disappointing when such great food and drinks are overshadowed by poor service. If the service improved, I'd happily return, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.

I came over to plaza azteca last week for dinner with my family and had a great experience, our food was hot and the portions were big , the guacamole was amazing and the drinks were great as well . My servers name was Jeilynn she was the best her service was on point and she also left us the cutest thank you letter on the receipt I will most definitely be coming again .

I stopped by Saturday night and wanted to share my experience. I had an incredible dining here ! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely fantastic—each dish was flavorful and expertly prepared. The drinks were equally impressive, with a perfect mix of creativity and quality. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the manager made it a point to stop by our table to ensure everything was perfect, which really added a personal touch to the experience. It's rare to find a place that delivers both exceptional food and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning soon! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy great food and drinks in a welcoming atmosphere.

Writing a review just because it was very shocking for me to experience this. I’ve been a customer of plaza azteca for many years. Been to many different ones so I know that food portions can vary but this time my food was hot in the outside but meat inside was cold. Almost felt like microwaved food. I was there this passed Tuesday (12/17) and the servers seemed to be very distracted on on their phone. My server took a while to come back to my table to take my order and the restaurant was not even busy. Also, I’m not sure what happened but a short lady who I think was the manager, was yelling at some employees right across from my table. That was very obnoxious and not professional at all. I don’t think I will be coming back to this Plaza Azteca on Lehigh st. Allentown PA.

I attended Plaza Azteca Allentown this week and let me tell you the atmosphere awful. The manager was screaming at the staff In front of our table. I order fajitas and I almost burned myself. I was loyal customer and I remember the portions much larger than this week. It looks like they are trying to save food and not give their customers the right portion. I also think they have new management and maybe that is the problem. The lady screaming at their staff was acting like the manager. Lastly my frozen margarita took so long to come out that it was not frozen. The food was ok and most of the server were on there phones.
