First they forgot my chicken part of order but in there defense drove it to me home so that’s ok. However no receipt given and charged my 10.00 more than price on website. The old take advantage of the gringo . Won’t go back

This restaurant is located in an area where I didn’t feel safe walking around. On top of that, the owner appears to price gouge anyone who isn’t a local or Dominican. I had checked the lunch special prices before going in, but was still charged a higher “tourist” or “gringo” rate. The rice and chicken stew lunch special was listed at $4.99, yet I was charged $10. The mofongo with chicharrón was supposed to be $9, but I was charged $16. When I questioned the difference, the owner gave me a dismissive look, like he expects everyone to speak Spanish.
While the yellow rice was flavorful and the portions were generous, everything was overly salty for my taste.

It's our family favorite dominican restaurant.
We love that we can sit to eat and enjoy great food. Love the family combos for a good price! Lots of parking, too.
