Was told by owner portion sizes were good, they were smaller then Chinese lunch specials. Boxed mac & cheese 😆 calling it soul food is crazy work! Ordered beef cubes with rice and the meat looked like pieces of dog food. Blend, boxed, and store bought corn bread omg! Please close your place down.

I looked on DoorDash and seen it and it was listed under comfort food and the first thing that came to mind was soul food. So I looked and I seen pics of the Mac n cheese and the collard greens pic and the fried chicken pics from the door dash reviews and because I love love love me some baked Mac and fried chicken I got me some . I thought to myself I have a good feeling about this restaurant let me try out the food. I was absolutely happy with all of it. Said to myself “ you can taste the love “ inside the food !!

Never been to this place in person, ordered the food via DoorDash and it was some of the best Soul Food I’ve had in a long time. I’m just confused on the kitchen hours situation. I’d love to order more often but there isn’t a consistent schedule on DoorDash. Can I get some help or at least some clarity?

I don't actually know anything about the venue it's self, but I did order food through doordash. And let me tell you....IT WAS PHENOMENAL!! The only thing better than the food itself was the price! I definitely would pay more for food like this but because its so cheap and delicious I WILL be ordering from here atleast once a week. ITS WORTH IT AT THIS PRICE! The chicken was lightly battered but crispy and unbelievably juicy, the cornbread was somehow extremely buttery and honey flavored without any syrup on the top, the fried corn was fresh and creamy, the collard greens were very tender but not wilted and very meaty, and dont even get me started on the pinto beans that were also flavored with whole fresh meat chunks!! EVERYTHING was full of flavor!
