Spent 70 bucks for a small plate of food.. the service was terrible. Took 35 mins for my food.. chicken was raw. I was never eat here again

I can not press how important it is to drive 2 hours to a place that have great reviews only to find out that the reviews is fake. Im sorry but the food here is not Southern food. Its food thats made for the lazy that either dont know how to cook or just dont feel like cooking.
Please season the food with love and give with care.

If you want some home cooked food, this is gonna be the spot to go for me. I love the Mac & cheese, collard greens and fried chicken it has great flavor with very generous portions 🤩 I had the fried ribs as well last week and those are a knockout 😋. Nothing is sitting out it's all warm and hot ready for you to tear it up! The hospitality is also great please give this place the business so they can stay around for a while I promise you won't regret coming here for some grub!

It doesn’t get any better than this! Growing up in NY and trying soul food in different places this had to be the best I’ve had! Customer service is amazing! The whiting had so much flavor and the Mac and cheese is fire can’t wait to go back again to this gem of a place!

I found out about this place on Facebook. Luckily for me, I work close by to their location. My husband and I stopped by after work today. Unfortunately at that time, we had missed out on their Mac n cheese. Which they immediately offered to make more if we had the time to wait. They're a new establishment (or atleast new to their location) I did not want her to go through all that work, especially since we were more than happy to have the collard greens and candied yams. Side portions are big enough for us to split and have leftovers. I had the fried whiting with collard greens and my husband had the baked chicken with candied yams, both served with 2 dinner rolls. Everything was delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I wish them all the luck, support, and success. I look forward to dining with them again.

Came here with my brother last weekend and got the fried chicken wings with mac n cheese. Food was great and will come back soon.

Cannot recommend them enough. Prior to opening at South Mall, they were one of the few trucks where I consistently was willing to drive out of my way to eat. Not only is everything they make an 11/10, but the way you always receive a warm and welcome greeting just makes you want to keep coming back.
