Very friendly staff. Sliced pizzas are good.
Goof pizza, t heynhad a good amount of choices from specialty pizzas to your standard toppings and different styles, reg u large, Sicilian, stuffed pizza, something for everyone. Plus healthy side salads pre made and n packaged. Dedinetly recommend for a pizza lover.
Great food, quick and friendly service. Nice place to stop for a quick lunch.
Im really enjoying lunch with my son at Sal’s Pizza on 4767 Tilghman St in Allentown’s Towne Center!
The pizza dough is great and crisp without falling apart. The sauce and mozzarella is super fresh and the sliced were yummy! Top tier slices.
The meat lover slices are incredible!
Garlic knots were delicious too, but could have used a little more garlic 😉

My review: 10/10
Wow where do I start? Well first off, I’m not one to write reviews. I usually just take the L with poor service or food and let it go. But this was one I can’t let go of. I ordered from Sal’s off DoorDash and just got my food maybe 30 mins ago. And man it was awful. The Cheesesteak was the worst I’ve ever had. And I’m not picky at all I can eat anything. But I took one bite of that cheesesteak and almost threw up immediately. I could not eat anymore after that first bite. The bread was soggy, drenched somehow. The meat was practically falling through the bottom of the bread due how wet it was and also tasted like nothing. The garlic knots I got were flavorless and very doughy, almost like they weren’t baked through all the way. The marinara was probably the only redemption for helping me get through eating them. The soda was good. But the ice was melted which I expected due to ordering on DoorDash. But anyway I digress, that was disgusting and Sal’s needs to do better. I’ve never had a cheesesteak like that before. I’m still in shock.
Been going here to have lunch for a long time. I usually get the same thing, an Italian hogue and pirogies. But I also get the pizza. Great service all the time. Food always come out quick and done right. Can't go wrong. They also have beer here for those that are interested.
Sal's pizza is delicious..has a variety and always fresh..employees friendly and eager to please!
I recently ate here twice. It's certainly not bad food but I didn't think it was anything special either. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is cool. The pizza and garlic knots were good. I would recommend ordering the pizza.
For my second visit I ordered the special Stromboli with a mix of peppers, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni in it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't really good either. To me the dough was super bland and kinda thin. The vegetables didn't really have flavor either. The sauce is good though! Parts of the dough were still raw too. I'm not mad about that but it did really detract from an already bland Stromboli.
I'd eat here again for the pizza and staff. If you're in the area and want pizza then this is a good option.
I think they deserve a better rating than they have, I used to work in the area more than a decade ago and I used to visit them frequently and recently I had the opportunity to return while I was passing through the area and the experience was even better than in the past with excellent service, good quality pizza and a great variety of quality imported beers.
Pizza was good here.

Food was delicious. We had an Italian hogie, pizza, burgers and fries. The young woman working was so pleasant. Food was great. Younger man cooking seemed annoyed but hey, maybe he had a bad day.
2nd time at this pizza place and just as good as the first visit.
We go there for lunch at least twice a week. The guys are always friendly and accommodating and the pizza is always great
I rarely write reviews. Been going there for over 30 years. I've always been friendly and appreciative. Sadly disappointed as of late, I think Sal would have been too. The manager totally dismissed my concern about the incorrect pricing (false advertising) on online menu versus counter pricing. More importantly, the falsely priced advertised stromboli was so unappealing to look at, we dared not to even eat the overpriced product. Took it back immediately and asked for a refund, although I would have just left without the refund. The young man behind the counter was courteous. This was not the first time ordering a stromboli there. On another occasion of price misquoting of a pizza, the manager who I've known for years and by name, was indignant and condescending. My mistake to give this business a second chance. Wanted to continue to patronize a long-standing business. Should have opted for the restaurant in Trexlertown which I've frequented before. Also, I worked at a pizza restaurant in my youth, so I know what to expect and my expectations are not unreasonable.
