Simpatico is an exceptional Italian restaurant in Allentown, offering a great atmosphere and amazing food. The establishment has a comforting, warm, and beautiful atmosphere with comfortable seats and welcoming tables. It is open yet maintains a great ambience and is right up the road from the PPL Center.
The food is delicious and everything is fresh. They make their own pasta from scratch and even have a homemade sourdough crust for their amazing pizza. Appetizers like the breaded mozzarella and the delicate meatballs with nice sauce are amazing. Entrées such as the loved fettuccine, the highlight pappardelle with short ribs, perfectly cooked salmon with crispy skin, and really amazing chicken parmesan with crunchy breading are all extremely satisfying. The golden beets are fresh with hearty flavor, and the house salad is very good. For dessert, the tiramisu is remarkable, fresh, creamy, and drenched in espresso.
The cocktails are excellent, including phenomenal martinis and limoncello cocktails. The service is outstanding, extremely friendly, kind, patient, and helpful. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and definitely worth a try. It is highly recommended as the best Italian restaurant and an under appreciated place. The goal is to return as soon as possible.
