Despite my fifty thousand emails he was always quick to reply and never made me feel a burden. David accommodated our schedules to do an early morning tasting and made us feel like his only clients. Our wedding was over two weeks ago and our guests are STILL asking if he does take out for the food - we would also love a Simply Smooth take out!! Truly the most incredible caterer. Chef David and his team at Simply Smooth Catering delivered an outstanding meal and service at our Prom last night! I am a high school teacher, and in that role I have been attending and planning Proms for the last 10 years. The food is ALWAYS subpar at best at these events. At the 2023 Prom, the Committee hired Simply Smooth and it was the first time ever that the food was actually good from the perspectives of both the chaperones and the students. As lead planner for 2025's Prom, I made sure to reach out to Simply Smooth and was thrilled to hear they were available and ready to build a great event for the students. David was flexible, creative, and accommodating throughout the planning process. And last night the execution was FLAWLESS. Set-up was efficient, servers were personable and attentive, cleanup was quick and thorough, and the food was EXCELLENT! Everyone raved about all of it, but the Brisket Slider hors d'oeuvres, Norwegian Salmon Beurre Blanc, and Cappuccino Shooters were the top highlights. I cannot recommend Simply Smooth enough!

5 stars isn't enough of a rating to accurately describe how incredible the food we had for our wedding was and how working with David was. Firstly, David is the most personable and honest individual I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I worked in event planning for 4+ years and have worked with many caterers and no one even comes close to the professionalism David has. Throughout my whole wedding planning process David answered every single one of my questions and requests in such a timely manner and really was honest about everything regarding the cost so we could stick within my budget.
That being said, even sticking to a budget the food was INSANELY good. My family are huge foodies and our cultures have incredible food/flavors, and the only thing everyone at our wedding keeps talking about is how amazing the food was. We had the Southern Comfort Station and let me tell you, I'm still dreaming about that fried chicken and brisket.
I can't seem to find the right words to describe how thankful I am to have been able to find and work with David and to have his food at my wedding. I would without a doubt recommend him to anyone who is looking for incredible food, but also ease of mind throughout the whole process of wedding planning. Simply Smooth provided the catering for my husband's surprise 60th birthday party and David and his team were fantastic, easy to work with, and ensured that every part of the event went smoothly. I had many many compliments on the superb food, with people asking who the caterer was, which usually doesn't happen! We had an extended appetizer portion with passed hors d'oeuvres, and the staff was friendly yet unassuming and brought food to people in every corner of the space! We choose buffet style for the remainder to the event and his staff made sure the trays were refreshed and plentiful. We had a larger then expected RSVP, and David adjusted our quantities ahead of time with no trouble. You can't go wrong with this team and with any item you pick from the menu. Can't wait for another excuse to use them!

Chef David was incredible from step one all the way through the entire event. His staff was outstanding and went out of their way to make sure that everyone was taken care of. From the planning process to the end of night service you and David's team went above and beyond. We had an outdoor tent wedding on my parents' property and we envisioned a family style meal. We worked with David to combine his picnic menu with his wedding menus to create something that we couldn't have even dreamed about. We had fried chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, cous cous salad, roasted vegetables, and cornbread. For the cocktail hour we did the typical passed cocktails and a seafood boil. Go for the seafood boil! We did that instead of a charcuterie because David said the cheese would sweat in the heat. It was the best decision--it looked amazing (a HUGE serving bowl) and guests loved it. David's staff was so great about making sure that we got food and drinks--I've heard of brides and grooms never tasting any of their food.Guest highlights included: the groom's grandmother declaring after her salad that the meal was great not even realizing that there was more to come; a cousin who said that the mac and cheese was actually good (apparently he is very picky about mac and cheese); our videographer snagging bowls of mac and cheese on the way back into the catering tent; gluten free guests happy with the cornbread alternative, and beyond.Book with Simply Smooth!
