We recommend this restaunt, and we will be back. (we live in Hamlet, NC...and will gladly make the trip...yep the food, staff and atmosphere is worth the drive.)

Though I would recommend eating here I wouldn't do it until the AC is fixed. It was so hot we boxed up our food and took it home. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. Our waitress checked on us often. She and the lady running the register each had great conversation with us. My only complaint was the 80° we were setting in.

I am from the south (Virginia) and what the sell is not southern cooking. At best some items are Yankee versions of southern dishes. The staff is friendly and kind, no complaints there.

The food looks almost as bad as Culinary Experts! Pretty gross.If this is Southern food then I'm moving to Maine!

Everything sort of comes in two kinds: macaroni and potato salads and others. They are very friendly and will let you taste anything you wish but it is not a freebee buffet. Prices are reasonable and if you are unsure but interested I recommend a half pound, you can get larger next time you come around.
