Today April 14th 2024 was one of my worst experiences at this Starbucks. These young girls they got working here are very rude and nasty. I walked it and I ordered my drink . As I waited for my drink a African American man walked in and already one of the girls in the back she was a tall Spanish girl with glasses commented loud enough for everyone to hear that she was not dealing with this today and refused to make his drink. This man got angry and said he was not moving and he wanted his coffee . He also commented saying that these girls the last time he was in there they poked a hole in his cup on purpose and and made his whole coffee spill. This situation escalated on both parties and I guess the man tried to go behind the counter and the shorter Spanish girl pulled out two objects to try to hit this man. The only girl in there who stayed calm was the small fair skinned girl with red hair. She asked this man calmly to step away just for a minute to take the other people's order. My thing is you guys work in customer service even if he's difficult y'all two girls could have deescalated the situation and gave this man his coffee . I know customers can be difficult trust me I worked in customer service for 3 years, but we are trained on what do in these situations. While all this was happening, customers walked in on what was happening and walked out . I don't know who the manager is of this team but they need to be checked out because what these girls are doing is not right. They even was on their phones recording and laughing at this man. Instead of doing this, security and police should have been called earlier on instead of waiting until he wanted to go behind the counter and get his coffee.

This is the most ghetto, poorly run Starbucks I have ever been to in my entire life. The customer service is God Awful and unsanitary. The Barista’s are all nasty. They don’t know how to correctly make the most basic drinks. They touch the entire top of the cup, including the mouth piece with their nasty bare hands. We’re still very much in the middle of a pandemic. Save your money folks and go to a different location.

I had a horrible experience here I was minding my business and this man approaches me and made me visibly uncomfortable the workers saw this and didn't do anything. This man also made it known that he doesn't purchase anything from this cafe. So this establishment just allows people to be in the store with no purchase. Which allows men like this to approach younger girls and woman in general. I am 16 and let it be known to this older man. But he continued to talk to me and record me without my consent. He also let me know that he's here often so I hope he hasn't done this to any other young girls. Be safe.

Awful awful store, not buying there never again. They literally laughed at the drink I order the wholeeee time, and they were gossiping about it… I felt so uncomfortable. So never again.

This is my first public review on anything. I am doing as I must note that this is Starbucks have the rudest customer service staff I have ever interacted with. It was not always like this and I have for the sake of this wonderful city owner check their business as even management is out of order. I could have ignored if it was coming from the bottom but it is flowing downward. I always had Starbucks as a place of Prestige but the mannerisms at this location is distasteful. Nasty service leave a bad taste in once mouth regardless of how the food taste.

Just going for my afternoon latte. I couldn’t tell if the people behind the counter were busy or not. I was the only one on line and one person was waiting for their coffee before me. It was a little awkward after a bit of silence when I said “hello, is this where I can order?” The cashier had a bit of a negative response, then as I’m ordering I get confused about my Starbucks app pay. All I got was an eye roll and was told I was acting weird. I couldn’t believe I was talked to like that after asking questions about how the app worked! Everyone working there looked so unhappy. Just a bad day today.

I live in the local apartments and lately when I go the guy making the drinks is always messing them up. I went today (April 28, 2023) and he messed up twice again by not reading the cup. I just took the drink because I was on a time crunch but it wasn't good. I am going to start avoiding ordering when he is making drinks unfortunately! I love the OG employees though!

Horrible experience. Came around 8 am giving its peak time I get it’s busy however if I’m paying 30$ for an order I expect at least some time of good service. I go here pretty often and the same barista is always with an attitude rolling her eyes slamming drinks down ! However this time she put multiple things in the counter no names nothing .. I asked her kindly “ hey good morning which drink is mine “ she rolled her eyes at me and screamed what . I’m like excuse me I got called all kind of B* words . Worst experience by far

Todays visit was great! Super helpful staff, the drink was made in a timely fashion and the establishment itself was super clean! Got a chai latte with almond milk and it was made well and perfect temp. Cassandra was very helpful today and overall very friendly and kind especially since I was having issues with my form of payment/ Starbucks app. The other baristas were very friendly as well and quick with making the orders. Would highly recommend this Starbucks and shout out to Cassandra for being an MVP!

This is the worst location I've ever been too. I found out it's privately owned so that's definitely the problem. My coffee taste bad everytime, as if their scooping espresso and stirring it in. When I ordered a grande today they gave me a venti & I tried to correct them when she charged me and she insisted that the venti was a grande.... I also ordered a blueberry muffin and received some type of chocolate puff pastry. They informed me that dogs are not allowed in the establishment so I asked what is the point of pup cups then? And they looked at me dumbfounded. My dog is emotional support so regardless he wasn't going anywhere. But that no dogs policy was made by the private owner. Starbucks needs to buy their store back because clearly the owner isn't doing something right... AND YOU CANT REDEEM REWARDS?!?? That sh*t ain't right! It's trifling really.

This particular Starbucks is located in Center City Allentown and has the worst customer service. The employees are rude and have nasty attitudes. That’s my personal experience. I understand from my observation that is a high volume store and under pressure during peak hours. That doesn’t excuse the customer service being so poor especially when it’s slow. I’ve seen employees avoid eye contact and roll their eyes at paying customers. It’s ridiculous. It’s not inviting and welcoming when you’re a paying customer.

Today, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, according to the Starbucks application, the closing time is at 6PM. Can someone explain to me why the lights were off at 5:50 PM? The doors were open, but the lights were off... there were two employees doing nothing behind the counter, who signaled to me that the store was closed. I believe that Starbucks should update the service schedule, because they have a schedule established by the corporation, but it is the employees who determine what time they close. Service = 0
