Stolfus deli sold me a ham that wasn't double smoked when i called and placed order then when I got there asked them again if it was double smoked. Worker said yes. When made Easter day was dried out and could tell wasn't smoked very much at all. Since last year's was so good went back this year but consistency isn't important heat as I found out Easter day. Was looking forward to good Easter dinner after wife having cancer surgery but was let down and won't be back again. Don't mind paying when it's good but when you pay good money and it's bad I'm sorry i won't be back.
Fantastic place for meats. Love the jerky.
Great products & variety. Staff is so helpful & appreciates your buisness. A great place to stop at the farmers market!
They always have everything I need when I come down to visit my sister.

Great meats, service is very good too. Their double-smoked products are super.
If you like freah Stoltzfus is as good as it gets. There are several stands in Souteast Pa. and even one in Dover, Del. Fresh ring balogne and summer sauage, but the beer in the fridge before you leave. Fresh baked goods and some really unreal breads and fabulous doughnuts.
Stoltzfus is always my first stop when visiting the market. I love their ring bologna , sweet bologna , lebanon bologna and their house made scrapple is also great.
For some reason, the Stolzfus butchers have decided that they needed to increase the "heat" in their ring baloney and even in their summer sausage. They added tons of pepper. It no longer has the "traditional taste". I've been purchasing their baloney and summer sausage for a long time - but only at yearly intervals when we travel to PA. I was utterly surprised when I got my much treasured ring baloney and sweet summer sausage home to Canada and took a taste. Yuck! Pepper! And more pepper. The rest of their meats were great - the souse and the dried beef. But please go back to the old, traditional recipe for ring baloney and sweet summer sausage!
