The tables were sticky but we got sat quickly, the server was nice, the food came fast, and we didn’t really have any problems. I liked the Mac and cheese the most. I would have liked a larger portion of ribs with them. My friend liked her wings but my other friend didn’t like the chips and guacamole.

Walked in as they were closing. Had a drink at the bar, service was great. We were staying at a hotel nearby, appreciate the accommodation!!

Came in as a small group of 3. No host in sight. Waiting 5 minutes to be sat at our table to wait another 10 to be greeted by our server. Waited 10 more for our waters to come out. Asked about removing jalapeño from guac, not able to be done because it’s pre made… told server about my allergy to them and ordered chips with salsa instead.. to my Suprise… the salsa was full of jalapeño which is not mentioned on the menu nonetheless the server didn’t bother to tell me there was any in there after I told her of my allergy. We all ordered the blackened chicken pasta which is clearly a frozen dinner due to its lack of flavor and watery taste. When the busboy brought our food out we had to just sit there and look at it because we had no utensils. My husband had to go search at the bar for utensils. He found our waitress just standing around. No refills given of our sink water. Server continuously walked past plates with napkin on top at edge of table. This was our 1st and last time at sunset grille.
We ordered food to go. Our food was super soggy and small portions. We stopped by to get our food at the bar, drinks were healthy and reasonable. Facility was nice and clean, staff was kind. When we called to order, the person who answered the phone must have forgotten about us and never came back to get our order. We hung up after 10 minutes and ordered online.

We’ve been coming to Sunset for more than 20 years. The customer service has gone way down. Tonight we saw at least two tables get up and walk out due to lack of service. It took at least 5 minutes to be greeted. There were only two servers on a Saturday night for the entire restaurant and neither had any “get up and go”. There was no manager in sight, no hostess to greet the patrons. There are obviously problems with management and service. When we walked out at 6:30pm, multiple people were waiting for tables when the restaurant was just about empty at that point. The waiting customers were told there was a 20 minute wait. The food was fair at best but we have nostalgia for the Sunset and its history but unfortunately we won’t be back anytime soon.

Went there for dinner with friends tonight, and we were told 45 minutes to an hour wait. Then we were told that it would be at least another to get our food because they had a large party arriving soon...... no brainer. We left.
