The food is always on point! I enjoy the happy hour drink and food specials. Hess's strawberry pie is an added bonus!

Our 5th time dining here. Brought our entire family for our daughter’s birthday. Made reservations 2 weeks in advance. Seven of us were squashed into a table that should have seated 4 (upstairs in a corner) Our entire bill was close to $500 and we were relegated to folding chairs in a corner next to an extremely loud party that were cursing up a storm. So disappointed. I think I’ll pass from making the trip again.

I so very much wanted to like this place because of all the positive reviews but I didn't enjoy it very much. The service was wonderful totally on point. The rolls were very good plus some of the fries were good. The French onion soup with seafood was horrible. Now the seafood was very good and luckily that was on top but as far as that french onion soup went it had absolutely no onions in it had the consistency of gravy. The clams casino we're okay as well as the stuffed mushroom. The entrees were almost unedible. The stuffed shrimp on the combo platter were on the verge of being spoiled. The crab roll was just that crab meat on a roll. The New York strip was tough as an old cow. The house of strawberry pie did save the meal though. Lol. Youells is by far the better choice since we spent over 100.00 a piece and only had 5 drinks. I give experience a 4.

My wife snd 2 other couples made the trip after seeing several social Media posts. So we figured why not give it try will celebrating Mother’s Day / wedding celebration. First of very hard to get a reservation but worth it. We had great appetizers and great food. Well worth the 1 hour 30 min driver. The server Frank was great. He interacted and joked with and made us feel welcome. Thank you for the great event and experience!

Finally got to the Fairgrounds Hotel & Saloon for Lobster. I had the elite tail flight others had the regular flight and the crab cakes. All food was as expected which was great. Our server was Steve and he was fantastic. Very attentive to our needs and super easy to talk to. Our room was really noisy and tight seating but all in all a good dining experience. Thanks Steve.

Fantastic experience, very busy, our flights of lobsters cooked to perfection. Accommodating to my grandsons seafood allergy his filet mignon was delicious. All food presented hot. Then the strawberry pie which I’m a former employee of Hess Brothers, was sinful, so many memories. Our waiter Frank was amazing, his sense of humor had us all in stitches. Kudos to Frank for a fine dining experience. YES we will be back. Thanking the entire staff for all efforts put forth.

Saw this restaurant on Facebook. Happened to be passing through the area and thought we'd try it. Should have had reservations but there was room at the bar. Food and service was great! Loved the old 1904 hotel and bar. Next time I make sure I have reservations.

Food and service always top notch!

Lobster was great! Waitress was not attentive. Vegetables way over seasoned to the point that we didn't eat ours. I was admiring an art piece and noticed the dining room was not clean. It ruined my meal.

Had the elite flight of 3 lobster tails. One from US, St. Tristan Island and South Africa. It was good but not great. The lobster was slightly overcooked. Cost was $79. Probably better if with the all you can eat crab for $50. The table we were at was slightly cramped, as well. It was a very busy Thursday night.

Nice place. We did the lobster flight. This includes 3 lobster tails from 3 different parts of the world and side dishes.

Table seating was a bit tight, but I'm not complaining. If you are going here, it's for the food and service. If you love seafood, this place should be on your list. My family of five plus one ordered various seafood dishes on the menu. We were all individually impressed. Seating was tight because this place is packed with repeat diners. Can't wait to go back.
