I was driving from NYC to DC and was craving a sub. Wally's Deli popped up in between the cities so my husband and I decided to give it a try.
My husband got the beast sub and I got the smokey sub. Both of us were very impressed. The bread was soft, the meats were fresh and flavorful, and the veggies that came with it were delicious. We would go back for the subs alone.
However, we looked at their brownies. Before leaving, we ended up getting the peanut butter and chocolate brownie. My husband and I have had plenty of brownies, but my gosh, these were the best ever! Despite the brownies being thick, they are not dense. These brownies literally melt in your mouth. They have a light and soft consistency and pack a lot of delicious flavoring without being overwhelmingly sweet. If I am going to be honest, I will say this place made the bar high for any brownie I get elsewhere, and I doubt other places will compare.
I will definitely come back here when I do another road trip. The staff is very sweet and friendly.

Been going here for over two years and this has become the place that I take all my friends who I’m interdicting to Allentown! They have a great staff and amazing food! They are known for their meat loaded hog subs but I have found that there best sandwich is actually the Veggie Sub, the way they make it you can’t tell you are having a veggie sub, its just amazing! Try this place out ASAP!

This is one of the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots in Allentown. I’ve been a customer now for 17+ years and highly recommend Wally’s Deli. Omelets are huge and taste awesome, a very nice variety of breakfast meals to choose from. They make very good cold & hot sandwiches and have a bunch of sauces to choose from.

Dry, boring, overpriced sandwiches made with stale bread. I have no idea why anyone would eat here.
Old lettuce on italian hog, found when i got home and it was gross, called and asked what they were going to do about it, was told i could come back and exchange it for a new sandwich. That's a hassle for me, only 15 min drive there but that's an hour total drive for a sandwich. In my opinion in this situation the sandwich should be refunded and you get a new one for free. Won't be returning anyway.

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the season home fries I will say the season home fries are phenomenal. The breakfast sandwich. I got it on everything bagel. Everything bagel didn’t have everything seasoning on top. The bread did seem a little stale, but it was edible. The sandwich itself was OK. I guess they incorporate the bacon into the egg. I had no flavor. It was overpriced. I paid almost $16 for breakfast sandwich and home fries there wasn’t even a lot it came in a platter with the home fries. It was ok going back there for maybe just the fries .

Chicken salad sandwich was fresh and very good. Didn't realize they close at 3:00 on Saturdays. I think it was around 2:30 when I came in. It was impressive how many awards they received over the years, which were displayed on the wall.
