Food was good. Salmon was very good; fish & chips were adequate. After seating, waited too long before being acknowledged by wait staff. Service overall was very slow. Noticed same at other tables in the room.
This is our second and last visit to this restaurant. We are not usually picky people. The calamari was over cooked and not really edible. I had chicken and biscuits. Kind of salty but edible. My husband had the turkey meal. It was too salty to eat. I’m a salt lover but I couldn’t even tolerate the salt. Very disappointed. Meal also was just warm. Calamari was credited to our bill. We paid for the turkey even though the plate was returned almost full. Will not recommend...
They need to do something about maintaining a comfortable temperature in the dining area. There are a lot of windows, which perhaps are not double or triple glazed, so the insulation is not great. We recently dined at PJ Whelihan's with the temperature being low outside. In there, they placed several space heaters to augment their heating system, making it quite comfortable. A simple solution.
