I really do not want to write this review but, for the prices they're charging, you should know before you go! The last two times we've been, the food was not good and the service was really, really slow. I had the veal piccata this time: the meat was tender but the portion was extremely small, consiisting of a few pieces of meat about one inch by two inches. Stopped in for a late lunch. I had Mediterranean Steak salad and my host had red trout. We had great service and the meals exceeded our expectations. This a full service restaurant w lounge
Two words you don’t often see in the same review: “Ambridge” & “upscale.” Yet here we are. We had a most pleasant dining experience here yesterday. Gotta say- the staff was most attentive and worked to assure our visit was positive. Kudos. Our meal was off of the special menu, so not there every day (catfish! two ways) and the soup du jour (perfectly executed French Onion) may not be available on your visit, but the effort that went into our experience was noted....
