Every time my family is in Ambridge we plan a visit to Fermata Brewing Company. It’s such a special place with great service and the atmosphere is fantastic. We love it there so much we bought t-shirts. I highly recommend!! 🍻🍻🍻

I drove past on Memorial Day (2025), as I was home visiting family. I told myself if there was parking on the way back, I would stop in to check it out. I loved the open front concept. I DID make it inside, and was immediately greeted by friendly staff. He bartender (sorry...forgot his name) was most welcoming, and answered all beer questions, and my other questions about the place. The 2 beers I had were fantastic, and the people were relaxed and inviting. I wish them well in their establishment and efforts.

Ran in for a four pack to go with pizza from down the street and got the You Too. It was a perfect Irish Stout.
Atmosphere seemed really nice while I was in, next time I am visiting back home I want to come in to try more of their beers. But my early impression is that this is a really nice local brewery and a great addition to downtown Ambridge
Bonus points for being dog friendly. 😁🐶🐾

Fermata was a very clean and spacious brewery. The staff was pleasant and the beers were delicious. They had boardgames for customers to play and it looked like they were going to have live music later in the evening. There was a food truck parked right out front for the hungry folks. Highly recommend. Cheers!

Beers I tried; all % are ABV: • taste of the Dr Peters' Dark Mild 3.5% Not dark, seemed a bigger flavor than mild. If you're here for any length of time, consider this. Very good. RECOMMENDED.
• Out of the Pils 5.1% I'm inclined to crisp German pilsners; this was true to that, crisp, straightforward.
• Extra Practice 7.7% Imperial Light Lager Careful. Didn't taste 7.7 and end of the glass comes quickly and easily.
• Out of Tune: Blueberry Plum 5.4% Fruited Sour Lightly sour, lightly flavored.
• River Runs Red 5.1% Irish Red Ale True to form; goodly amount of flavor. Another sessionable if you are walking/have a driver/etc. RECOMMENDED.

Where do I start. Best brewery in Pittsburgh hands down. Awesome vibe, great food truck scene, incredible music acts, oh, and the beer. Homerun after homerun. Awesome German style beers. Amazing IPAs. Wonderful sours. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Ordered the winter IPA. It had a strange flavor that hinted of rosemary instead of the typical hop backbone. That said venue was nice, as was the service. Perhaps their other beers are better.
