If you’re never going to fix up anything on this course you might as well close it down. Tee boxes are still terrible, cart paths are ATROCIOUS, greens are a joke. I get it’s the end of the season, but no attempt was made at all to control leaves. I lost a whole bag of balls that were in the middle of the fairway! I’m sorry but there is a complete lack of effort being put in to this course through the years I’ve been coming here to justify the price you charge. I will never play here again.
Worst course I’ve ever played. Nothing is kept up with and needs watered and mowed. 24 dollars to play on hard thick ground is an actual scam. Greens are cracking due to them being so dry. Couldn’t pay me to go back honestly. They care too much about their bar then the course. If they cared they would have more business so it doesn’t even make sense
This course could be pretty decent if it was owned by someone who was a little more willing to invest in maintaining it. There are large bald spots in greens and fairways, the tee boxes are rough, there are several inexplicable unmowed areas, and rusty, abandoned heavy equipment scattered around the course. The greens were exceedingly slow and squishy, with lots of clover and unfixed ball marks as well. A little more investment and professionalism from the groundskeepers would go a long way. Fittingly, the carts are old, slow, and generally beat up as well.
There are 3 holes on this 9 hole course that are clearly an afterthought, shoehorned into the existing layout just to make the course 9 holes. The result is a pair of very short and out of place par 3s, and nearly every tee box is difficult to find, as it is not anywhere near the last green.
However, the most inexplicable problem with this course is the complete lack of garbage cans anywhere on the course. Unsurprisingly, the course has a lot of empty drink containers and other trash on the ground. The worst example is the bush behind the 5th tee box that features a large pile of empty beer cans. When you don't give people trash cans, they make their own I suppose.
There were some redeeming qualities. The course was affordable and unpretentious, people were friendly, there are some nice views, and the 6 holes that were actually designed into the original course are reasonably nice.
Its a shame the people who run this place don't take better care of it. It could be a pretty nice little course.
The only thing that could help this place is a bulldozer and in owner that wants to put time and effort into his course
the worst course ever
$40 for a course that looks like it hasn’t been touched since Moses parted the Red Sea, don’t waste your money….stay home and sleep
Very pleasant staff! Even after arriving late for a tee time, I was happily welcomed and on the first tee box in 15min.
Concessions were reasonably priced, with multiple options for dinning before or after your round.
Excellent for beginners, as there is not a lot of water to worry about losing balls in. A variety of short-medium length holes provide excellent practice for all skill levels.
The greens were very respectable, given a lack of rain over the past few weeks. Sand traps were in great shape.
Grass needs cut more
I wasn’t going to leave a review but I felt too bad not.
This is the worst course I’ve ever played by far. I would rather play in my uncut grass at home. In fact I haven’t mowed in two weeks and it’s still shorter than the fairways here.
It is sad. This course has amazing potential and if the grass was even remotely under control I would have been happy.
A dead center fairway drive felt like you were hitting out of oakmonts rough.
It is a shame that this place has been ran into the ground after 100+ years.
Best course around if you want to lose balls “in play.”

Tee boxes are bad, greens are bumpy, not maintained
The course isn't in the best shape. But the rough in some sports is almost as long as oakmont. If you are used to playing really nice courses and they are too easy, try here. It will need you to bring out your best performance possible. Also if the owners see this, I came on July 18 in the evening and the group of teens in front of me were all hitting balls at the same time on the 8th hole. They hit a ball towards a group on the first hole and didn't even yell fore. And they were driving on the greens. Hope this helps for everyone!
The worst golf course I’ve ever played, if you want to hit into fairways that are 3 inches thick while the groundskeeper drives right infront of you with no care in the world…. Play here. Absolute joke of a course, and the owners should think about closing down this trash can of a place they call a golf course.
Listen, your time is short. This isn't a high rated course so dont expect it to be. It is however a course you can always count on being open if you really gotta play
TERRIBLE fairways. Way overgrown. Def not with the money! Find a lawnmower for Gods sake!
