Went here for dinner for the very first time, and I must say for everyone who have never been here, try their hot roast beef sandwich! It was absolutely delicious, hot and tasty! Everything was smothered in smooth, delicious gravy, and you can even ask for extra gravy, too! My side were French fries, and they're pretty good, too!
I also had their chocolate milkshake, which was super delicious as well. The cream on top was sweet and delectable. They even gave me the rest of my milkshake since it didn't fit the glass. This is worth the price, folks!
The area was packed when we came for dinner so make sure you come early. Their parking space right across the street has plenty of space, so don't worry about it.
The bathrooms, though, can be a little dirty, so be cautious.
Overall, the food here was excellent!

We have been coming here for years, but we won't be back. They increased their prices but give you smaller quantities. You have to remind them to add bread or whatever you ordered extra because it's not in the bag. The food is still good, however if you are going to increase the prices at least give the customer the quantities they were getting in the past. Thank you!

If what you are looking for is a mom and pop type of diner where you won't break the bank, this is the place for you. If you want some comfort food and aren't worried about calories this is the place for you. The company I ate with on my one and only visit (so far) rave about the roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes. I got a chicken salad with ranch and it was good. Nothing really special about it but I would get it again if I went there. I did not like the coffee and I always drink mine black but I won't order coffee again. It has easy on street parking and the staff was all very nice and attentive. If you want a good diner experience while in Ambridge and a good roast beef, this is the place for you!
Kid-friendliness: I went during the week, during lunch time so there were not any kids there. However, I would definitely take my two energetic kids to eat as it is not expensive and I'm sure we could find something they would eat. Plus I wouldn't be too stressed about perfect behavior. It is more of a laid back atmosphere.

Didn’t get gravy on the sandwich, nor was one of our items in the bag. Went back and got my time with no problem. Didn’t check the sandwich until I got home and didn’t want to travel back to get the gravy. Which is what they are famous for. Kind of disappointed for the price I had to pay.
