I'm not in Ambridge much, but when I am, it's always great to stop in Merchant Coffee for a couple hours of remote work. The coffee is good, the atmosphere in nice, and the food menu is solid (especially the frittata).

I looooved this place. It's in a interesting part of Ambridge, but the shop inside was so cute and comfortable. The barista was super nice and the place was very clean. The outside does not to the inside justice. I got a vanilla latte and my sister got a mocha latte. I'd recommend both. The beans have quality and don't taste burnt or "starbucks" ish. I'd give this place 10/10. I haven't tried their food, but they had plenty of options.

Awesome coffee shop the staff is friendly as soon as I walked through the door I was greeting with a smile and pleasant coffee aromas. I had ordered a iced coffee and bagley sandwich! The bathrooms were very clean and neat. Lots of seats and space inside. Peaceful atmosphere two gentlemen were reading when I stopped in. Food was got and delicious definitely made my morning better!

I visited Merchant Coffee Co. for the first time this week, and I'm sorry I didn't come sooner! Such a cute place! Drink was delicious and so was the food! We loved the ambiance..so nice they have books and board games. We even played a game of Scrabble while we were there! We'll be back!
GREAT,I came on Wednesday morning (12-27-23). The prices were very good. The seating area has a nice modern vibe. They put a lot into restoring this building.

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and kids for our morning coffees. This was like the 5th or 6th time we had been to Merchant Coffee, so you know we like it. On this Sunday morning the inside was sort of quiet compared to other Sundays where the place was hopping. The inside of this shop is actually quite large with lots of seating and a large mural. Beyond that they have a small enclosed outdoor seating area with 5 4-tops including a few with umbrellas. With our young kids, it's the perfect place for our whole family to hang out.For our coffees on this morning I went with a large maple brown sugar latte while my wife went with a small one. On previous visits I have also always ordered their seasonal flavors with things like carrot cake shaken espresso, honey lattes and more. Their coffee is always good and I really enjoy their seasonal flavors which pack tons of flavor without too much sweetness. My maple brown sugar latte on this morning was the perfect example of that as you could get the maple up front and the brown sugar on the back and yet somehow it wasn't overly sweet. While the coffee wasn't too prevalent in the flavor, you could definitely get the undertones of it. On this particular visit we also ordered Beaver Bagels which were delicious but on previous trips we had ordered other pastries too which are always good.The bottom line for me is that we will clearly stop by here again in the future. My wife and I love their seasonal flavors for their coffees and think they offer a nice array of food as well.
