We enjoyed our meal at Thunderhead very much! The service was excellent and they were extremely accommodating. Everyone was smiling and even chatting with our 2 year old. The food came out promptly. I had the short ribs and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked. My husband had the burger and it looked amazing. The fries were to die for! Our dessert was made fresh and was the perfect end to our meal. Can’t wait to go back!
Nothing makes me more annoyed than adding extra $ for EVERYTHING.. Grandson ordered chicken fingers and asked for ranch to dip, added a dollar. Son in law asked for cocktail sauce, another dollar. My friend asked to replace the salad with potatoes $4. Instead of a garden salad that came with my meal I asked for a Caesar, yep another dollar. We’ve patronized Thunderhead Lodge twice in 2 weeks with friends at each visit. Service was great at both visits and everyone agreed (both visits) that it’s definitely worth another visit! The French onion soup is amazing and the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries is amazing! Looked like they are investing in a fantastic outdoor space- can’t wait to see what this summer holds!
