Smooth and very tasteful
Wonderful experience and beautiful property. Enjoyed the wine selection (not just sweet varietals) and walking the grounds. The sommelier‘s are well versed in their wines and were able to help us curate a tasting menu. If you are in PA, I recommend a visit.
Worst experience ever of any winery we have ever experienced. Very rude. We were next in line and they went to the people behind us first. Then when we were asked if we wanted to sit outside, and se said yes, she gave a table that sat eight to again the group behind us, and would not separate tge tables. I would not recommend this wi very if you are looking for relaxation.
We recently visited this delightful winery on a Saturday afternoon while in nearby Altoona for the weekend. It was simply lovely! We loved every wine we tried! The employee was kind and super helpful! I highly recommend this winery!
An award winning, family owned and operated winery. They offer a huge variety of wines, from very dry to very sweet, some cool variations (a spicy wine) and even phenomenal alcoholic ice cream. They have a wine club that celebrates new wines on December, March, June and September, a branch store in Indiana, and a beautiful place in Asheville. Recommend!
Our daughter found this great, cozy winery close to Altoona (my husband’s hometown) when we did our fall roadtrip from Texas! We loved the spacious inside w/ souvenirs, the wine/wine tasting, tipsy cow ice cream and the outside vineyard & gazebo! The co-owner welcomed & waited on us, was so gracious and even took pictures of us! We purchased wines to take home! Great experience! Hope to return next year!
The best!!!
Live the blueberry wine
My group of 4 visited on our way in to Gettysburg on a Friday afternoon. The server was awesome. We had 8 tastings each, and she was on point with all of them! The wine was great. We left with a few bottles and we enjoyed them so much, we stopped again on our way out of town on Sunday afternoon. Also grabbed a slushy which was STRONG (in a good way)!!!! I was so impressed with everything!
Visiting from NJ and must say been to several Wineries and this here is by far a very nice, relaxing, great wine, delicious ones in tasting. A must visit and purchase to go too!!! It’s that delicious. Owners are absolutely friendly and very helpful with suggestions. So if your looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy some great wine in a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful over look of winery make sure to check them out!!!!

This business is run by a wonderful family. Veteran and woman owners. Top notch products and such a wonderful place to visit.
The ambiance is lovely and the service and wine is amazing!
I met this family at the horse world expo in Harrisburg. Such a nice group of people! I got to taste their whole wine list and got a delicious case of wine to bring home to Massachusetts. I was so excited I showed my husband the website and told him about their feisty mare. Next time we are in the area we are making a special trip to have some food and wine!
Recently Woody's lodge added in a Gazebo area perfect for a small, intimate ceremony location and leveled out an area for a tent reception. We had so much fun working a wedding at the Gazebo and inside the tent - the wedding was beautiful and there is a state park nearby for you to go get photos. The tent is huge and can hold plenty of people (at least 150) and had area for an indoor backup. We had a great time partying and we loved that they offered their wines during the reception. Can't wait to come back and work again!
Woody's Lodge recently did construction at their place to add in a Gazebo area that is perfect for small, intimate weddings and a leveled tent for receptions. If you are a wine lover and would love to be married next to/in a winery field filled with sunlight and grapes then look no further! The staff was accommodating and they of course offered their wines the day of.
