Felt like a very lowkey garage size of a spot but the atmosphere was nice / the service was spot on and the coffee and food were chef's kiss. I recommend đ

Always wanted to try this place. Finally did. Absolutely delicious and unique to the area! From their specialty matchas and seasonal lattes to their assortment of breakfast/brunch items, so many good options. The cafe itself is so cute and the vibe is great. Staff was friendly. Highly highly recommend!!
I ordered for take out and want to start off by saying my sister is intellectually disabled and high-functioning autistic. This was literally our first time here. We ordered three drinks, and she also wanted their âPhilly Jawnâ sandwich but was confused on why it didnât come on a croissant. Since she has anxiety and trouble with social interaction, I went and asked about it for her and was met with the most random rude service. Not sure if he was the owner or manager, and he was just having an off day or what. I literally started off the conversation with saying Iâm not sure if I got the right sandwich⊠and he goes âyeah well you grabbed it.â already sounding irritated. me: I thought I got the Philly Jawn that came on a croissant? and then he tells me it comes on a potato bun, raises his voice then tells me if I looked at the menu nowhere does it say it comes on a croissant. With his voice raised âWHERE DO YOU SEE THAT IT COMES ON A CROISSANT?â like dude⊠chill? I looked at the menu online and honestly I donât blame my sister for being confused either because I was also confused looking at it. No where does it say it comes on a potato bun either. All of their other menu items are either bulleted and ended in a price. The only section that wasnât was their seasonal food menu so we both thought that 3-lined menu section was one item. I ended up apologizing for being mistaken, but I regret feeling like I had to apologize after literally getting YELLED AT to the point where I felt like there were some eyes on us.
I went home and felt like I was gaslit into feeling like I did some egregious, so I had asked others for their thoughts, and a couple people said they thought the same thing with the menu, so I wonder he was just short with me because I wasnât the first person that thought this so he was getting frustrated? I find this ridiculous because Iâm the type of person that doesnât even prioritize service, I prioritize food quality over everything and frequently visit restaurants that many avoid due to poor service. Iâm patient and donât mind waiting (about 20-25 minutes, but I didnât mind as I wasnât in any rush). My only expectation is to not be rude and this place failed only that, lol. Despite this, the person that rung me out was perfectly wonderful so this is not in regard to her.
As for the sandwich, my sisterâs words were âI liked it. It was goodâ so thereâs that. I didnât have a bite of it to know. Her only critique is that itâs a little greasy. This place went viral after some random person reviewed their matcha drinks and it was just⊠okay. Refreshing but not the best. They advertise it as ceremonial grade matcha but if youâre an avid matcha drinker then you would know using ceremonial matcha on an iced fruity drink is honestly a waste.
The influencer said it was the best matcha outside of Philly which might be true for her, but Iâve had better elsewhere, although I also recognize I live closer to Philly and was only was in the area for a food festival. Iâm beating myself up because I should have known when I watched the girl say this is the best matcha she ever had outside of Philly without mixing itâŠ. This is probably more of a reflection of the limited options around. Sister said her iced caramel latte was just okay. This place just feels like another hipster cafe which might be lacking in the area, but thereâs plenty elsewhere. Being Asian myself, Iâm not short on places to get matcha. If youâre in or around Philly, this is not worth a trek or going out of your way for, but it may be a convenient choice if you live in the area and donât have as many options as the city. This was my first and will probably be my last time coming here.

tlar; just know what to expect!!! cute vibe and very good drinks but be prepared to wait a while and pay an arm and a leg
The banana mango matcha was delicious but definitely not worth $11+ imo. Mine took about 20min to come out after I ordered. I'm visiting from NYC and even matchas in the city don't get that crazy.
Fine if you know what to expect going in, but they didn't have the prices of the specialty matchas on the menu which was sneakyyy

I enjoy their coffee, but had a strange experience today. It took forever to order because the person taking orders (I think he was the manager or owner) was being VERY chatty and friendly with all the young girls in line ahead of me. Lots of smiles and conversation. I thought ok, friendly service is good, I can wait if thatâs his thing. Get to my turn, he doesnât smile or look at me, barely mumbles for me to give him my order. I was definitely taken aback by the difference in his demeanor. Iâm not exaggerating, he darted his eyes around from one young girl to the next that had ordered or was sitting, and didnât look at me at all. I ordered a latte & pastry and he didnât get the pastry for me as he had the girls in front of me. I had to ask for it and heâs like âOh, yeahâ and gets it, again not even looking at me. I saw him treat the woman behind me similarly, who was also not super young. The people in line after her were young girls and all the smiles and chattiness were back again. Honestly, very creepy and makes me not want to go back.
The pastry tasted old and stale, latte was great. I had planned to sit with my coffee but the music was very loud and that guy made me uncomfortable.
You might want to have a conversation with him about his creepy behavior.

I love the mission and goals of this place more than anything. They are all about education, quality of water, coffee and sustainability. They have traditional dishes that they put a fancy flair on with extra flavor, comfort and plate appeal. I must mention the ambiance, service and coffee is incredible!

We love Ebru coffee. We go here whenever we want to treat ourselves. Itâs a bit on the pricier side, but itâs worth it. Their drinks are expertly crafted, creative, and delicious. You will leave saying itâs the best youâve ever had.
