Had the pleasure of visiting this venue with my family for dad's 85th birthday. The service was wonderful, friendly, personable and the food was butter, tender, flavorful; simply amazing. The staff and food aided in a excellent event. Thank you Mia Madre Trattoria and I look forward to returning!

The web page never said bring your own bottle and cash only. I was totally dumbfounded when we got there and this was told to us! In addition, each item was a la carte and it was extraordinarily expensive. This was not the same as my prior experience!!

We come here every year for Valentine’s Day. One of the best Italian restaurants in pittsburgh. The portion sizes are generous, the apps are amazing, and the staff is so welcoming and kind. You definitely don’t leave hungry and always have lunch for the next day.

I try something different every year and it has always been incredible. The chicken piccata is the best I’ve ever had. It melts in your mouth.
