The tap beer was way too warm with way to much head on it. They're were children as young as 5 in the bar. Now say What? That is all illegal. I only recommend The Bull Pen to Barney and his crew.

Good wings and fries, have not tried any of the sandwiches yet but they seem to have a nice selection. Nice size bar with a stage inside. Also have an outdoor seating area where they have a stage for bands as well. Good atmosphere.

I like that the feel of the place hasn't changed, and I'm looking forward to getting back here sometime soon, and hopefully enjoy some food and maybe catch a band. The outside area is a great place to hang out

Love the Bullpen for their outside bar and bands. But don’t go there hungry because you’ll wither away waiting for the food. When it finally does arrive it’s room temperature. It took 1 hr 55 minutes from the time we sat and when we paid the bill. Soooo slow. This has happened several times so sadly won’t be eating there again

One of my favorite joints to ride the bike to, awesome atmosphere, always good tunes. We got there shortly after they opened and placed our order before it got busy, which it was not at the time in the slightest. I ordered 6 boneless and a pits burger. An hour later the server came out to inform me yall were out of cole slaw. Meaning after all that time nothing was even started ???? So I instead ordered the carnivore burger. Finally after an hour and a half or plus a few we got our food. That carnivore tasted like a solid salt block for a horse. I had 1 single bite and couldn’t even take another bite. Not to mention the boneless wings were sub par for taking over an hour. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their food other than the wait for it. I was at a loss. I don’t know how many times I’ve been here over the years, but the last two times service has not been good.
Food was dried out, table wasn't cleared when it was obvious we were just staying for another drink. (we did it ourselves), atmosphere is cool but they really need to rethink the food because this could be a great place. I'd give it another chance.

But we had ended up with 3 blown out tires from driving a backroad in Avella, the safest place for us to pull over was The Bull Pen. Someone ran us off the road.
We tried fixing our tires in their parking lot. Waitress came out, we thought we'd be told we'd have to get off the premises if we weren't going to buy anything. No the opposite. She came out put out some road cones to give us extra space. Told us to come inside if we needed to cool down and get a drink. Free drink.
Thank you so much to The Bull Pens owner and staff. We really appreciate you being so kind to us on a rough day. We will be back a couple Sundays from now to enjoy some food, and good atmosphere.

Unfortunately the quality plummeted since new owners took over. They swapped out soggy frozen French fries over the amazing battered fries they used to have. All of meat was dry, you no longer get onion rings on the pulled pork sandwich. They used to be great but now, they're hardly mediocre
