I was out on a bike ride and it started storming. I happened to be near and remember stopping at this place for mid ride food in the past. They allowed to get myself and my bike out of the rain and wait it out. Amazingly nice of them and says a lot about the service they offer too. Thanks again, it will not be forgotten

So, in between blessings, today, I asked The Reverend Iif we could pick up lunch to have a quiet respite at home in between two weeks chock full of classes, remediations and resolutions, service and private appointments. As J.DeFranco and Daughters Catering had posted pictures of their Pizza Cigalo bread I was intrigued. We settled on a Chicken Parm on semolina for her, sans sauce as she’s taking a break from tomato. I went with their President’s Week special; The Taft, also on semolina, as I had never heard of a sandwich like it before and I often need a catalyst to move me out of my ordering habit of, mostly, known favorites. I also asked for pesto on the side as I had never tried theirs and I thought it would make a good option for The Reverend’s chicken and/or the Pizza Cigola bread. The bread tasted straight outta da Bronx That pesto was so fresh and far and away the best I ever tasted. I am so grateful I overruled my feelings re: Taft/Hartley. The apples and dijon took it to another level!

Came here to inquire about catering and apparently asking questions for clarification isn’t allowed. For example, don’t bother asking if cutlery is included. Very rude. I do not recommend.

Cannot say enough about this hidden gem. The BEST cannoli in the area. Hot sandwiches, cold ones, dinners… you name it. EVERYTHING is delicious. We had them cater our Thanksgiving dinner one year, it was perfect. What’s more? They always remember your name. This is a family run business and they treat their customers like family too.

Stopped in because my husband's boss said they are fantastic boy. He wasn't kidding. The food is out of this world. The portions are amazing. Prices are fantastic. I had a chicken parmesan sandwich. My husband had an Italian hot dog and there was sausage in there. I got stuff to go. I will definitely be back

Joseph the owner, is very friendly when I do my pickup and he also likes talking sports. Chicken and regular cheese steak are the best at a very reasonable price.

We had DeFrancos cater a party of 100+ people in August 2024. We had a whole roasted pig, chicken Francese, eggplant parm, pasta with olives and spinach, ceasar sald, fruit and cookies. All prepared with finest ingredients and cooked to perfection. And the presentation was beautiful with flowers and decoration. The servers were professional and also took care of cleanup and packing leftovers. Couldn't have been happier. Heartful thanks to Joe, Jolene and helpers!

Hands down the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. The dressing was amazing! My partner got an Italian Hoagie, also amazing! Highly recommend stopping here. The owner was so kind and sweet as well!

A good solid lunch. It's very filling. Had the NY or Brooklyn cheese steak. I couldn't finish mine. My guy ate all of his and needed a nap. Worth every penny

Hands down one of the best Italian Delis I have ever had. Small place, Big taste. I got the special Chicken Saltimbocca sub on fresh semolina. Homemade sausage made every Tuesday and catering. I found my new home when I want great Italian food.
