We’ve dined at Farmhouse Blakeslee three times within the last three months. The food, is incredible! The service is AWFULLY SLOW and “hidden fees” in the bill. We never order tea or coffee, just waters. For four breakfasts, it comes out to approximately $90. Again, the food is delicious but it is NOT worth the slow service. Be prepared to sit and wait an hour plus eating time.

We just had an amazing lunch at the Stroudsburg location - I had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and my son had a burger. 10/10 on both! my son said the best burger of his life!

I really like the environment and the food. I don't like that they sneak in weird charges like "supply temp surcharge " to cover the price of eggs. Especially when you don't order eggs!!! Seems a bit unethical. Yhe price you pay should be the price on the menu.

Great food and great service. The Poconos needs more places like this!

We visited the Crystal Street location for dinner and it will now be a MUST every single time we travel to the area. The ambience was lovely and the gorgeous variety of china everything is served on was the perfect touch. Organic, farm to table is right up our alley and everything was fresh & delicious but simple. The other stand out component was the staff. We would’ve never guessed that our server Kenny had only been working there for a week. He was pleasant, gave wonderful recommendations, and carried himself and cared about our experience like an owner would. Everyone we came across was friendly and smiling and genuinely seemed happy to be there which is so very rare. This place is a gem!

A girlfriend and I went to the location on Main Street this week, or at least attempted to. We were so excited to try it and enjoy a nice dinner. That is not what we got. We were sat quickly, and a group of 13 came in behind us. We were a party of two. After several minutes, we were acknowledged with a waitress running past the table, quickly dropping ice waters to us with a “I will be right back” as she rushed by. She never came back. She went to the bar, while the other waitress took the 13 people’s drink orders- and she began making their drinks instead. I was literally attempting to make eye contact with her and she was blatantly looking everywhere but. No one actually ever came back. Our menus were set down on the table, we were clearly ready to order. Nothing. If we had at least gotten our drink orders taken, we might have stayed. But we left after waiting a good 10 minutes to even be spoken to. The table of 13 got the whole “welcome to farmhouse” spiel. Us. Nothing. I have worked in food service before and I can guarantee, I would have at least tried to get the smaller tables order before the larger table bogs down the kitchen. When we left, the waitress barely said a word, a quick rushed oops sorry. I told her, to not even get a drink order? Or a hi so sorry we are coming? Annoying. We went to another restaurant that even acknowledged us as paying customers, and as locals I can guarantee I will not be recommending your place of business to anyone for brunch. It’s a shame, cute place. And the bartonsville location prior to the fire was always delish. Gone completely downhill.

Super disappointed - I have never felt compelled to write a negative review for a restaurant before until today. Went to the Farmhouse on Main Street location a month ago and had a fabulous experience - was THRILLED to see a new location had opened less than 15 minutes from home. I took my boyfriend, and had been excitedly planning a trip to the Farmhouse Poconos location before we even made it into the restaurant - I canceled these plans before we even got the check. After working in food service for 14 years, I cannot express my disappointment in the service enough. When we arrived, there was only one other table in the entire restaurant (Thursday morning, arrived around 10 AM). The table already had been served, and initially everything looked promising - our drink orders were taken promptly, our food order right after. Boyfriend ordered a Bloody Mary (I Will Survive on the menu) - good, heavy horseradish. I had an iced coffee (Best I Ever Had on the menu), which is also the most palatable thing I had there. We enjoyed chatting and looking around at the charming decor. We ordered an appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes, which didn’t show up until we had been sitting idly for 45 minutes. By this time, there were only two other tables that arrived in the restaurant. We listened to a server apologize for the delay to the table behind us - our own server didn’t mention the delay (very evident at this point) until another five minutes later. Our food finally arrived after being in the restaurant for an hour: boyfriend’s “Outlaw” breakfast was initially good, but found the middle of the chicken to be incredibly dry. My seafood Benedict had poached eggs (?!), little hollandaise sauce, and the biscuits the Benedict was served on were burnt. We ate what we could because we were frustrated and hungry - at a price point of nearly $94 (NOT including tip), this is not something we’ll be doing again. Worth mentioning: we watched as staff trickled in, stood around and looked blasé after the tremendous wait. The location opened around 2 months ago - my hope is that with better training, the staff can turn it around. Left a bad taste in my mouth all the way around, and I won’t be returning to this location in the future.

This is definitely what this quaint essential mountain needs… if you like Terra Cottage, in Lake Harmony, then you will like this place. There are two locations - one in stroudsburg and blakeslee.. so don’t get confused… you have to physically put the address in.. they sit you fast, even though it’s a small location..within a few minutes, you have your beverage in hand .. cocktail, coffee or tea.. or both.. they actually put water on the table.. (yes restaurants do forget this). You can be seated without your full party here.. in case they are running later. They are busy- but please keep in mind - they are only in 2 weeks of opening this location.. they are super nice, big portions. It’s a great option.. since I was super cold, I asked to crank up the heat- and they did.. again it’s 18 degrees out.. you can come by yourself, with a friend/family member or a group.., they also have a family style charcuterie wood platter-

We’ve eaten there twice since opening so far and everything was spot on. Food was amazing with so many good choices and the service was impeccable!

The Homestyle Fried Chicken was awesome, kind of like a Nashville-type chicken. Great mashed potatoes too. New and clean restaurant. Definitely heading back.

Can’t recommend this place enough! The roasted Brussels sprouts were better than “Top Cut” , the entrees were absolutely amazing with layers of flavors. Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant, the atmosphere was fun and relaxing. The value was very good considering the food was top notch and so delicious, I’m absolutely going back soon.

Chef Ray and Marisa were the best evening dream team. The food was fabulous!! I totally recommend this restaurant. My husband had the chicken sandwich and said it was the best he had ever had. I had the brisket cheese sandwich and it was delicious as well. Don't miss this special place in East Stroudsburg!!
