my husband and i just moved to the area. we were looking for a place open late to sit down at the bar and have some apps. this place was perfect! the bartender was very friendly and the food was delicious. we tried 4 different things and the wings were amazing. as soon as we got to the car we talked about how we can’t wait to come back & try some drinks next. it seems like we have found our favorite laid back bar!

If I could give zero stars, I would.

My 4 friends and I came to the poconos, from Binghamton NY, for my 32nd birthday. Spent the entire day at Aquatopia waterpark, and wanted to go out to dinner. We were dropped off by an uber (20 minute drive), and walked in. Greeted immediately by a lovely server, and sat outside in their back patio. Myself, my partner, and one of my friends ordered drinks. Only three of us were able to tell the server our drink orders before they walked away. For some reason, they had to take our IDs to the bartender “to be checked”. I had zero problem with that, but getting cut off was very rude. The server never came back, but the bartender did. They proceeded to say we couldn’t be served, because one of the IDs was fake. We asked which one, and they said “you should know” then rolled their eyes. I asked well, which one… because we all are WELL over the age of 21. Somehow MY ID was deemed fake (I am the oldest person as well), and the bartender wasn’t able to definitively say why. It was quite obvious we weren’t wanted there, and they didn’t want to serve us. My partner and I are a lesbian couple, and it was very apparent that was the reason we weren’t wanted there. For some reason the owner thought/was told we had been to three bars prior to theirs… which is impossible. I just wish the bartender/server could’ve politely said they didn’t want to serve us.

We left, and didn’t get anything else. All I wanted was a really good cheeseburger, and a couple drinks. Every. Single. Person at our table works in the restaurant industry… i have been a bartender for 13 years, and have NEVER been treated so horribly.

If you are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I do not recommend coming here. It is not a safe place. Do better.

The Original Pocono Pub is our go to place for food and drinks. The food is good, you can’t go wrong with any of Chef Mario’s specials! The staff is friendly and attentive and there is nightly entertainment.

Terrible service!

Traveling through town we stopped at the Pocono Pub for lunch. My husband loved the food and vibes so much he asked to purchase a shirt. When the owner told him they didn't have his size- he then took our address, ordered the size & sent the shirt in the mail!! what an awesome gesture! we were so excited to get the package. The pub was great but the vibes and people were even better. Also the beer was cold and delish. We will always stop here when traveling through!

The best prime rib in The Pocono’s! Stopped in on a random Wednesday night and had the best service and the best steak I’ve had in the 20 years I’ve lived here! Highly recommend this place for dinner and/or drinks! You wont be disappointed!

I wish I could give a 10 star rating!! The food is fantastic and you get a lot! Music is awesome and the staff is incredible! Weekly specials are awesome and there isn’t a bad thing on the menu! If you’ve never trued the pub, do yourself a favor and check it out! You won’t regret it!!

Amazing food and a super friendly staff! The owner greets customers like old friends and within a few visits he knows what drinks and apps are your favorites.

This is our go to place for food and drinks… the cheesesteaks are the best I’ve ever had!

Food here is amazing, not a bad thing on the menu! Staff is incredibly polite and lovey to talk to, makes you feel right at home. Anytime I sit at the bar, my drink is refilled before I ever need at ask for another. Great place overall 10/10!

We had a very nice dinner here after a trip to Bushkill Falls. We try to come here every time we are in the area, as it is lively and homey inside, with affordable large portions. The live singer was a nice touch, and the Mac and Cheese was perfectly done. Thanks!
