Nothing but great wings by Wing King
Went for wings and the dude screwed up my order and the wings were gross. Definitely underwhelmed.
With a name like "Serengeti" I expected some interesting dishes, or at a minimum, some steaks. I sat at the bar under a somewhat dimly canopy of plastic ivy, on bartools with faded cushioned padding that was worn through and shredded at the edges. That was totally ok as the restaurant had a very interesting ambience, with dark mahogany wood paneling and a secluded almost "jungle" feel. Bartender was friendly and attentive (but only 1 other customer in entire restaurant). I had a tap beer; not sure if there was anything else to drink -- I didn't see any bottles of spirits anywhere, just a small fridge with beer bottles (although the chalkboard had a St. Patrick's Day drink offered). But the major disappointment was when the bartender handed me the menu and I saw Appetizers: wings. That's really about all they had. Or some variations of it. And the Entrees were ..burgers. They went a little "haute cuisine" with a cheeseburger, and really outdid themselves with an offering of mushroom toppings. They had a chicken sandwich and a chicken wrap. I think that's about the entire menu. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was good, with an overload of greasy fries. This was not the "Serengeti" I expected. Food quality was acceptable - no complaints. But very limited options and extremely typical Bar Food was a very major disappointment. On the plus side, the beer was cold.
Ok I do love the food prices, and think the staff is friendly but service is probably as bad as it gets, at times they leave u alone for over 20-25 waiting for your bill. It's a great place to have a QUIET meal, not many people go here. But all in all it's a nice little restaurant for the area
IT is very nice Hotel & very nice service
Very nice staff and cozy rooms.
Attended the New Year's Eve buffet, as always very good food, prime rib, Turkey, pork. Garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables, mac and cheese. Chicken fingers shrimp. Salad bar and dessert bar. You could get alcoholic beverages. Can not be beat for the price .
The bar has the best wings!
No need to go here unless Lou is behind the bar! Best bartender in the Poconos.

Had a great time the food was good and the waiters Josh and Pedro were phenomenal we will revisit
Great food reasonably priced. Faisal is great!
After a waitress made a mistake, my friend tried to say sorry, she completely ignored us... Wouldn't even look our way... Thankfully someone else picked up her slack. And it's a shame... The garlic parmesan wings and the saringity hot wings are REALLY good.. but I won't be going back
We ate here 2 to years ago and the food and service were great. The hotel roof leaked but really nice restaurant. If was clean, the food good and excellent value. Would eat there again. I also have celiac dz and they were more than accommodating.
