I love smoked BBQ so this was the place to go for me. I had the shared the pork ends and brisket ends, cole slaw, and baked beans. Brisket was tender and the pork ends well done and slathered wish sauce. The cole slaw make with crispy fresh cabbage. I really liked the beans but paired with the bbq meat was a bit too much. It would go better with a hamburger. Overall, we want to go back and bring more people. Reservations are recommended!

Fix the fly issue at this point bring a bug zapper with you and you will be thanking me later the waitress had to give us table fans we were being attacked by them. Disgusting place. I take it the standards of the owners have just gone out the window clearly no presence of any. Hopefully next time I come they sweep up all the dead flies on the ground.

The online menu needs to be updated to match the actual menu when you are in the hotel,and there was flies everywhere indoors the entire time there. Waitress actually had to bring the outdoor fly fans to our indoor table

This place is so good, I've never gotten anything that wasn't amazing, and they have fun cocktails too.
The food was fantastic in an old style establishment that has been around for over a century. The interior is an early 1800s period style with just enough room to be seated comfortably. The service was great and the waitress was on top of things. The food was also really good! Not many palaces seem to care about the quality of their food, but this place does. You will not be disappointed in deciding to eat there. We will be returning for future dining. They do accept reservations. We made them and when we arrived, our table was ready and waiting.
Had a fantastic meal. With how crowded they were I expected a longer wait but my meal came out fast and correct. Marilyn our server was fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable. Came back to check on how meal was going and if everything was ok or if we needed more drinks. I’d recommend reservations and ask for Marilyn’s table! Definitely will return.

IMPRESSED WITH THE UPDATES!! Menu is now marked with gluten friendly AND VEGAN options. I’m not sure how many vegans frequent a smoked meat specialized spot, but…. The selection is pretty great! I’ve been coming to this restaurant periodically for years and harassing the wait staff with questions about what is safe for gf. PRETTY MUCH ELATED TO SEE THE LITTLE GREEN LETTERS! Also, the glazed carrots are YUMMMMMY. Smoked meat combo platter was the way to go for me and my fiance got the meat loaf. NO DISAPPOINTED FACES at our table! Loved it!
