Carousel Dairy Bar & Cafe

My husband and I just had lunch there and the food and service were amazing. They also have a cute little store in the back with little tchotchkes and homemade foods. Highly recommend especially the “Greekie” quesadilla. We will definitely be back.

Went.there today and ordered 3 ice creams and paid for it $14. Then I've sent my kid to get 2 more for other people in a group that decided to get 2 more, then the girl have said we haven't paid for the other ice cream and took $25 from my kid without change. When spoke with a manager she said there was no record of transaction and no money will be refunded.

Will not come back,
Will not recommend this place to anybody,
Real good business stealing money from kids...

Went tonight, for the first time and ordered a large soft serve twist cone with sprinkles and a large vanilla cone with sprinkles...$10.07.
So the lady who gave us our order handed us a small cone, twist with sprinkles and a small cone in a cup also twist with No sprinkles. When I looked at her and said. "I don't think this is ours", she was very snotty and said..."oh yes it is" I told her what we ordered and she again with attitude said, " you want her to fix it" I said no. With the attitude that she was giving, I believe someone would've spit in it. (Oh and I didn't realize the cone that she handed me with the sprinkles, was a twist, til I started eating it) it was supposed to be vanilla. Needless to say, we won't be back!

Yesterday, we decided to meet some family members for breakfast at the Carousel Dairy Bar & Cafe. To get right to the point, the atmosphere was awesome. The service was awesome, and the food was awesome. And, the prices were unexpectedly reasonable. In fact, coming from Middletown New York, I'd say the prices were way below what we would pay at home. Great value for great food.
We will be back!

This business is owned and operated by a fantastic, hardworking, and kind local family. Everyone chips in and everyone cares about our community. They serve delicious food and maintain a clean, safe and fun environment. The store sells a variety of locally made items, grab and go foods and even live plants. They arrange fun field trip experiences at an affordable rate to local schools and host birthday parties. Recently, Jess and Kory helped arrange a vocational/hands on field trip for local hichschool students with disabilities. These students learned through hands on experiences what it takes to work at a smaller theme park. Also, this month, Jess and Kory came through in a big way helping to organize a sandwich and doughnut sale for a local club team. I can't say enough about this place and the people who work to make it all happen!

The adult white women were not too on serving us (a woman of color, my two daughters, and our small dog). Although they serve pup cups, the 1st woman tried to get rid of us, saying the dog couldn't be in the restaurant. (We have emotional support dog documentation.) The food was okay. After we finished we walked around the empty amusement park. It was rainy day. The man attended couldn't so much as muster a cordial smile. Before we left I went back inside to order salads and desserts for later. The attendant of the park and the women were together at the counter. They obviously were not happy to see me again. I excused myself and left.

We love the food here and the menu is very unique. My personal favorite is the harvest burger! The ice cream is fantastic too.

I've been here twice, both times for ice cream. Extremely overpriced! I paid for a kids cone 3.90 and ordered a small cone,which was the same amount of ice cream and priced at 4.42. I don't think I'll be back a third time.

I ordered their French toast with strawberries and coconut. It was delicious and something I would want to order again when we come back. They have mini golf and go karts at the back which we enjoyed very much!

A little disappointed. Asked for a medium hard ice cream cone. Wow medium is one scoop and very soft and melting, waffle bowl was super soft and broke and was served on a napkin. Very expensive. Servers were not very friendly. Just not impressed.

The food was good but the prices are a little baffling. I am willing to pay for good food but a 42$ bill for 2 burgers 2 fries and a hotdog with no roll was a bit of a shock. I understand an upcharge for gluten free roll but 2$ for a single slice of American cheese on my burger and 4 something for a small handful of fries is crazy. I want to support small business but these are city prices for what you get.

The prices are crazy!!! $35 for just 2 burgers!! No fries, chips or drinks... just 2 burgers!! My car broke down in their parking lot, and after we told them we’d be back for it, they had it towed.... it cost me over $100 to get my car back! I have nothing nice to say about them. I don’t even want to give them one star!

The burgers will take you by surprise to say the least. You could be served their burger at a restaurant that specializes in burgers in NYC and think it's great. So in Beach Lake, it catches you off guard. The quality here is fantastic.
