Chippewa China House

The food at this place is horrible. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this was bad. The lo mein was extremely dry and the honey chicken was almost all breading and fried so hard that is was rough and chewy. Will not waste my money again.

I was in today and there daughter that works at the front desk taking orders and passing them out when they come in it’s very very rude. I’ve been there five times. Well I’ve been going there for a year and a half but for the past five times she’s throwing my back at me and she slammed my debit card down. She is just rude as she can be today was more important for To talk to another customer about their hair instead of taking care of me and my order so this means I will not ever go back. I will go to Beaver House instead of Chippewa even though it’s not but I’m just not gonna be treated rudely anymore.

Couldn't find nothing open today so I got Chinese here they were open but they put all my orders in small smashed containers that were ripping and over stuffed. The sweet and sour chicken was dry and not flavor everything was just so smashed in the little containers not happy 💔

This place has good food and good service. I'll be back again!

Ordered here once before, and the food was okay. We ordered some food tonight, and the food had a faint chemical aftertaste. Idk what changed or what the reason is behind the different and odd flavor, but I just think the management should be aware in case there is an issue. Also, usually, the chicken dishes are saucy not soupy...and ours were both soupy. Idk something was just off about the food tonight.

I ordered Singapore Mei Fun. Absolutely delicious and I had to save half for next day. Lots of food!

I wanna start this review off by saying that my family and I get food from here on a regular basis. We live in Ellwood City. As soon as the order was placed my husband and daughter headed right there to get the food…. Just to be told, sorry we couldn’t make Your order… I guess the lady stated that she tried to call me right back, but I have no missed calls or voicemails on my phone. Regardless, it doesn’t matter she shouldn’t have taken my order, knowing that she wasn’t going to fulfill it. And what really upsets me is that they were still doing business, passing out orders when my husband got there so why is it ours could not be made?!!!!! She didn’t even offer to do anything to make it right!!!! Horrible customer service!!! I doubt I’ll ever go back there. I am so disgusted and upset.! What makes it even worse is that it was our favorite china place. Exactly why we had no problem constantly driving over a half hour there!

Best Mei fun I've ever had, and I get it at every Chinese place i go to! Everything was delicious, and I was highly impressed.

We ordered pick up but we sat inside and ate our meals. They were very welcoming, and there were others sitting inside eating as well. I highly recommend this spot!

Not sure what happened to this place ?? Maybe the management changed. I ordered Chicken Fried Rice and it was chicken & rice. Not fried, no vegtables .. There was a young rude girl working the cash register. Needs a change of management to survive. Multiple complaints on Next Door ..

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The owner, or who I assume to be the owner, and her family are always super nice.

Food great and always fresh and tasty.

Asked for a substitute on phone lady said okay when I got there she said they don’t have that but did substitution anyway. Got home missing things some food was burnt. Too late to call that night as it was closed. I called about it owner the very next day when opened and she offered refund. Went to get refund the owner wanted to fight. I said we come here all the time never had a bad experience until now wanted her to know what was missing and went wrong. She was rude said that’s not true. She goes don’t come here again. I go you weren’t on the phone with me when I placed order so you don’t know what the conversation was. She said I have a camera I looked at what the worker said to you. She continue to fight said they only made one mistake. I go if you want to fight I leave but you said you would refund me I have somewhere to be. She continue I go alright I’ll come back another day for refundand call again. She goes no here don’t come back your not welcome here.very expensive and rude customer service.

Will be back again. I didn’t give 5 star as they had no ice for my drink and the broccoli was cold but learning curve. I liked it overall.
