This place serves Ohio River Valley style pizza. It is not a traditional style by any means but the people who like the style tend to really like it. D&G does produce one of the better examples of the style. However, you may find yourself, as I did on a recent visit, walking into the line of fire of one of most unpleasant, unprofessional, and abusive managers imaginable. The man was, quite literally, screaming and yelling at his employees--and customers. Sure, the place was busy on a Saturday evening, but there is no excuse for his behavior. I immediately wanted to be anywhere else. Nobody comes to a popular, longstanding local business expecting to be abused and it was shocking. I left without bothering to place an order. I actually drove thirty minutes up the river to Ambridge to get my ORV pizza fix at Police Station Pizza, an even busier establishment where no hot-headed jerks made me uncomfortable. On the contrary, I was made to feel welcome in their community. I might not come back to D&G any time soon.

Authentic old style square pizza. We love this stuff and wouldn't change a thing. My favorite topping is mushroom and sausage. When my family comes home from out of town, this is the pizza we get.
Parking: Only a few spots out front, you might need to park across the street. No eat in so noone is parked long.
Recommended dishes: Extra Cheese Pizza and Sausage, Sausage, Pepperoni Pizza

I grew up on this pizza.I moved to South Carolina 25 years ago, soI always bring some home with me when I come to visit. My absolute favorite pizza. 1 star is because of the rude manager. Every time that I come in to get pizza, he is extremely rude and nasty! If it wasn't for my son, I wouldn't have even bought the pizza this year! It was all that I could do to keep from snapping!

This is the most unusual pizza place I have ever been to.
They do not sell pizza in small medium or large varieties.
They do not sell bread sticks.
They pre cook large sheets of school cafeteria like pizza and sell by the slice where they will take cold toppings and place on top of reheated pizza...
The "sausage" is more akin to dog food and has the consistency of powder not meat or anything resembling protein.
This is officially the worst pizza I've ever encountered in my life.

We live out of town, so this is a must have when we are visiting. My fiance loves their steak hoagie. We walked in at 9:09 for our last visit. Was informed they stop making hoagie at 9. On a Saturday so we were a little thrown but ok. Got the pizza, I was happy. But a couple walked in after we were waiting and spent time looking at the menu. The kid didn't say a word to them about no more hoagies the whole tike they looked. Didn't hear what they ordered but I hope it was pizza. Their food is always the best and their pizza is my favorite. This last time though the service was big time lacking.

If your into the thick square cut cold toppings this is the place to go to. Some say it's the best. I've been going there all my life and I can't remember it being any different.

Good Shiz-at, can get what ever u want and its really good pizza, was just driving threw and didn't have time 2 wait so just got da take home and cook , was da BOMB, will definitely be hitting yenz guys up when comin threw da Beav, only thing I'd suggest 2 yenz guys at da joint is get fresh Mushrooms ? but sausage is killer, got da rite amount of kick? but not 2 spicy ???
