What a lovely place to stop in for a morning treat. The pastry selection was much larger than expected, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious—from the maple cinnamon roll and classic cinnamon roll to the peanut butter bar, raspberry danish, apple turnover, and cinnamon muffin. Highly recommend warming up the cinnamon roll for extra goodness! The staff was super friendly, and service was quick. Such a great local gem—definitely worth a visit

I got the toasted almond torte for my mom's birthday. Went to cut into the cake and it was frozen and the almond slivers were soggy. Disappointing and dissatisfied is an understatement. Would not recommend.

My family loved all of the items I took home to them: burnt almond torte, petite fours, cannoli, danish cupcakes (the definitive favorite), fruit pie/flips, and cinnamon rolls. It was later in the day and they still had a large selection to choose from. Workers were patient, helpful and very nice. Prices were reasonable. Take out.

I love Kretchmar's, we go there once a month or so, so it's not a weekly or daily visit but every time we go my son loves to choose his treats and for the most part are just delicious. However this is the third time that I get a scone that is moldy. I'm convinced I was given an old one from one or two days before despite having a full tray of fresh ones, I actually noticed the young lady attending me kind of reaching from the back and under the tray but I dismissed it because my son was very excited looking and trying to decide what to get. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until I was back home and later in the evening. The scone was a little spotted and it can be confused with the cranberry chunks however once you split it open the mold was there, no mistake. Seriously? I think you do very well to try and sell stale old , please do better I can not be the only one this has happened to. I'll still go and buy from you but definitely I'll keep an eye on what I've been given.

I love Kretchmar’s in Beaver we’ve used them for my baby shower cake and the baby’s 1st birthday party cake they are so creative and amazing 🙏🏻 The young lady had me a cake ready all in one day on 6/14/25 by 4PM she had excellent customer service.

Place seems to have gone down like alot of bakeries. Idk if its the fake sugar or lack or real sugar but all the icings taste off now.. the french buttercream is so light it might as well be whipped. Not what i wanted. Got a sheet cake that was the strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla cake together. It wasnt in layers it was like a marble cake but the rasberry snd chocolate just mixed together and dominated the cake and barely any canilla or rasberry to taste..it was practically a chocolate sheet cake.. they dont do marble but they do 3 flavours!? I dont taste the difference between them and shop n save now.. shame..use to go here for a decade for cakes. I will find another, less crowed snd hard to get to bakery.
