Decided to make the trip out to visit this bakery after hearing so many good things about it and can say it deserves all the praise it gets. My favorite item that we got was a pecan pastry, I wish I'd taken a photo but I immediately demolished it on the drive home.

I just had to post about the incredible Neapolitan quarter sheet cake Kretchmar’s so beautifully decorated in French buttercream for my Mom’s 92nd birthday. From the moment I picked it up from their smiling counter person, I was so excited to present it to my Mom and family after dinner. I wish you could have seen how her face - everyone’s faces - lit up. Brighter than the candles! And the marbling inside was so perfect with the pink. The taste of both the icing and cake...
