Totally delicious! Best avocado toast!! Also the bread is to die for! Never In my life has bread not been soggy after a couple minutes. The bread here is home made, and holds up so good!! No soggy bread here!! So yummy and totally recommend. A little pricey, but you get so much for your money !! Satisfaction, full tummy, and left overs!! Also owner is super nice, and so is the staff! 100/10

Ladybirds is one of my go to spots for a delicious lunch in beaver. It's hard to find as it's not on the main crawl but in the back of a a building, but 100% worth the stroll to the back of the main strip. They have a rotating menu of a weekly avocado toast, a salad, and a variety of soups and baked goods. Everything is made in house and absolutely Devine! My only "issue" here is that they lack having a core menu. If you don't like either their specific weekly toast or salad, you're out of luck. I wish they carried some sandwiches to add variety. While I do love coming here, it's somewhere I come alone to get takeout from because it's not a menu that will appeal to a large crowd. Also be mindful this is quite expensive. For a take out meal plan to spend about $20 for a slice of toast and a cookie- I find their quality to be of that value though!

I had seen the tempting FB posts from Ladybird's, particularly the much celebrated pulled pork and mac & cheese handpie. It spoke to me, gently through the screen of my phone. "You must", it whispered. "Soon", I answered, "...soon". While passing through Beaver this afternoon, I decided that today would be the day that I responded. I had heard that in order to get to Ladybirds in Beaver (now their sole location), one should park out front of Waffles Incaffeinated on 3rd Street, the main street through town. From there, follow the side street on the right and enter from the back of the building. In all honesty, this gave me pause...was I heading into an ambush? Was I making my way to some clandestine, back-alley sandwich speakeasy? Hardly. I am known to have an overactive imagination. Ladybirds is one of a few businesses that have entrances in the rear, and all are easily identified and accessible by either stairs or elevator. I took the small set of stairs to the clearly marked door and entered. I was immediately greeted by smiling faces and a rundown of what was available. Unfortunately, that list did not include the object of my quest, but I understood. Large numbers of hand-crafted perishables are generally not made on speculation that someone like me will wander in an hour past lunchtime. The way it's done is by an early phone call so that what you want can be prepared and waiting for you. In future, this is my plan for the pulled pork and mac & cheese handpie. We will meet another day...rest assured. Fortunately, there were a number of other items available and, much like the pulled pork and mac & cheese handpie had spoken to me, two incredibly large pepperoni and cheese rolls greeted me from a glass case. "Sup?", asked the one. "Well?", asked the other. With a quick checkout and smiles all around, the three of us left. Now, with most pepperoni and cheese rolls, the dough is usually of the nondescript pizza variety. Its primary contributions are to hold things together, and not taste bad. The savory sourdough that formed these two was exceptionally good and would have carried the show all on it's own. In combination with the pepperoni and cheese, it was an equal collaboration to make these the tastiest pepperoni rolls that have ever lured me to purchase them. Picked up a Turkey bacon cheddar roll tonight, it was delicious! Pretty sure every bite I took proceeded with a “This is so good.” You can tell every ingredient is top quality, the dough, bacon, Turkey, cheese & dressing all together were nothing short of spectacular!

Huge portions! The spinach, pesto,and ricotta roll was a whole loaf and really delicious. I should have ordered just one for both of us. Cookies are about a foot in diameter and also delicious. Six of us shared one with plenty left over. Everything tastes fresh from the oven. The dining area was a small parlor sort of room. Couch, coffee table, some comfy chairs. Very homey. Many carnivorous and vegetarian options.

So anyone who knows me understands that I'm a huge fan of this place. I normally go to the main location in Ellwood City because it's a nice drive and a cute little road trip. I die I tell you for their baked goods. The Midnight Snack cookie puts me in a tailspin of delight. Absolutely delicious. Really you just need to experience these locations. Locally sourced. Women owned.
