The service is fantastic, and the food was great. The location and view as a really nice outdoor patio facing the river. The downside is the menu is kinda limited, but at least the prices are reasonable

I don't really like to write bad reviews, but OAG really confused me. After looking at other reviews and pictures of the food and menu online, I have been wanting to eat there for months. I finally made it there last night and was extremely disappointed. We got there around 7PM and besides the 2 people sitting at the bar, we were the only people in the restaurant. And even though there was no one there, it still took our waitress almost 10 mins to come and greet us and take our drink order. Had it been busy, that would have been totally acceptable. The bar area was beautiful, but the tables and booths on the upper level looked dingy and uneven. Like they hadn't been upkept in a very long time. When we finally did get a menu, to our disappointment, it was VERY minimal. I mean, basically a lunch menu, if that. There were only a couple appetizers, a few sandwiches, and i think 2 entrees on it. We were so unimpressed, we paid for our drinks and left to go somewhere else. Maybe it was just a bad night for them, but I doubt I will be returning. Such a shame because they have such a great location.

Oak arbor grille is Bridgewaters best kept secret!!! My girlfriend and I regular this place at LEAST twice a month. We both have yet to have a bad meal there and we've ordered almost everything on the menu between the two of us. Pay attention to their daily specials. They do prime rib on fridays and saturdays and one of their specials they like to do is this appetizer called the primo cheese pot. It is absolutely unreal. Cubed prime rib. Homemade baguette and homemade beer cheese. Can't ever go wrong. Everything from the burgers, sandwiches, steaks and pastas are just out of this world!!! Took my grandparents out. They absolutely loved it. My parents are coming to visit next week and my girlfriend and I will be taking them there. I know for a fact they will absolutely love it. Only thing there should be a more obvious way to enter the place

The reviews seemed promising, but was disappointed. The atmosphere was plain compared to what it used to be. We waited a bit for our server. We ordered the Lobster Pasta and Bacon Wrapped Sirloin. They ran out of lobster so substituted with shrimp. There was no flavor. The steak was supposed to be medium and came out rare. The saving grace was the pretzel appetizer - that was good. It was just a very underwhelming experience and wouldn't go back.

Do not go by any pictures posted on their website of the Sunday Brunch. NOTHING on the brunch resembled anything from their pictures posted. Food had obviously been sitting for hours. Nothing fresh. The English muffins the eggs Benedict were on were as hard as hockey pucks. You could get a fresh made to order omelet - that is if the chef/manager could pull himself away from his book keeping work that he was doing out on a table amongst the patrons. And by patrons, I mean our table and 1 or 2 others. That should've been the sign right away to walk back out upon entering - no one was there!

Boyfriend and I went for a late night dinner, both got the strip steak. 25$ a plate with two sides, not bad. The bread roll that came out was reheated and stale. The steak had so much fat on them, for the 12 oz of steak, at least 4 oz were fat... the mashed potatoes were powdered and not cooked properly, big chunks of powder... not good. The fries were greasy. Fettuchini didn't have hardly any alfredo sauce on it. This place is usually outstanding but 80 dollar bill for two people including tip, I would have gotten a better meal at Jerry's curb service down the road, and spent 20.

See if this inproves. Clam chowder was more milk with a few clams in it.....not chowder in any way. Two waitresses on and there is a table of 20 and everyone who comes iin is seated in their area. So noisy. The food better be excellent in order to change this review. However, it seems we might not get it until breakfast tomorrow. Nope finally camr, one salad was missing, steak was overcooked bit figured it would take too lo g to send it back, gyro meat was cold, kids mac and cheese was Kraft...still waiting for the second salad. WAITRESS IS NOT TO BLAME AND DID THE BEST SHE COULD.

No wine list, no draft list, and that was just the very bad beginning. We never got a 5th set of silverware, I had to go get it from an empty table. My salad had the wrong dressing, couldn't find the waitress to get it changed. My steak was over cooked, but given how long it took to get itt he firat time, I wasn't risking sending it back. It took almost 2 hours for five of us to get served. My niece ordered off of the kids menu, amd was served $5 cold, KRAFT mac and cheese. My bar drink stayed empty and a refill was never offered. Definitely will not ever be back.
