Italian Village Pizza

I placed an order with specific directions for a no contact delivery…I arrived home and my food still was not there after 1hr. 20 minutes. I called and the girl lied and said it was on its way. Then IVP called and said it was delivered to the back porch (which I don’t have!). I found my food sitting in my backyard on a kids picnic table out in the sun which it sat out for 30 minutes! I called IVP back, spoke to the same girl who was getting smart with me. She said the delivery driver knocked 2 times…I told her to read the instructions which at first she said she didn’t have! She placed me on hold and then found the instructions and read them to me which clearly stated, “No contact delivery… Knock on door… Leave on table outside.” She says you didn’t say anything about leaving it on the front porch. I said if the delivery driver had come to the door he’d see there is a table on the front porch. She continued to have an attitude with me arguing with me stating I did not specify to leave it on the FRONT porch so I asked to talk to the manager and she stated he’s busy. So I waited on hold only for the manager to tell me he could replace my food or give me credit in my next order … I could not wait another hour, my grandkids were hungry! I accepted the store credit however after I thought about it, I will not be patronizing them anymore! I’m not taking the risk of them doing something nasty to my food!

I have been going to belle vernon IVP for over a decade. But I have to say the last couple times I have been in , in the evening, pizza is dry and burnt. Of course the pizzas do sit there awhile to be sold for slices.
I would say go there in the afternoon, I have had better experiences.

BUT, I don't know if I will go back this time because the kid that came to the register to take my order had a ball of dough he was rolling , went back to dough rolling after taking my money 😨

This is my all time favorite pizza. Outside of New York or Chicago. So tasty… And this location in Belle Vernon is the best, of the other Italian Villages locally. The pizza tastes better and they have great deals

I absolutely love their two slice deal at any time. Gives me nostalgia when growing up in NYC. Not to mention their slices are really good. I enjoyed sitting inside enjoying my slices ☺️.

I ordered a gyro to go and had a piece of pizza while I waited. The woman at the counter was incredibly up front, knowledgable, and kind. The gyro was just simply great, even heated up in the microwave hours later. The pizza was good. I would have preferred to eat it from the pie, but I couldn't order a whole one at the time. I have had their pizza, and it is quite good. The seating is small, as expected, for a take-out pizza place. They have great deals on piecemeal foods. IVP is well worth stopping at if you are in the area. I look forward to ordering food there again.

Decent food

Pizza was good. Booths were all dirty, pop spilled all over by pop machine and counter was sticky. Employees were behind the counter talking about the customers loud enough that we could hear. Very unprofessional.

Always a great time. People friendly i don't get gyros anywhere else

I did not order based on the attitude of staff. I had a coupon they would not honor. I made a mistake and called the wrong pizza place. I called back to aplogize and got the same rudeness from the staff. They called me a theif. Good pizza , shame they treated me as a criminal and no one i know will eat there again.

When I walked in another customer was being served and the next staff member asked if I was being helped, I had a pickup order and it was handled very quickly and exceptionally polite staff, being from out of town on work. Food was excellent and would recommend.
