Mmmm... doughnuts . Is there anything they can't do ?

Today August 21, 2024 about 12:30 pm Wednesday. My daughter and I stopped to get some sweets. We walked in 3 employees were on a phone. Didn’t greet us at all. Didn’t even look at us. The one was an older lady I’m surprised at that no greeting from her either. I said hello to them. They finally acknowledged we were there. A red headed girl waited on me she was rude. I had to spend $10 to use my bank card. She had an attitude about it. She practically threw my card at me. Really bad attitude. Face was miserable. Like leave your problems at home. It’s not my problem don’t take it out on customers. That’s not right. I’m ready to call there to talk to a manager about it. I was nice to her the whole time. I shouldn’t have been. I’ll never shop there again. I’ll go to Keystone in Monessen.

A mandatory thing if I'm going here is the fondant / thumbprints. these new items called potato twists are also delicious.

The apple pie tastes very bland. It’s like the filling was canned almost… can’t taste anything that would suggest it was home made :(

I went here because it used to be known as tribues. I found it's the sane but under a different owner and named. I oreder a strawberry short cake . The cake ,pound, and the icing butter cream. I really wanted this cake for my 42nd birthday. At first, they said they couldn't do it. I said i get it all the time from here, and it wasn't a problem. I asked if everything was the same, and they said yes. The boy there told me no, but let me speak to a manager after i insisted. The manager talked to the baker, and they said yes. They charged me extra. i didn't care i just wanted this cake for me. A week later, I picked it up, and it wasn't right. The cake was regular whip cream After they told me they couldn't do it with it. I said, "Are you sure its pound they said yes. I said i could deal with the icing being wrong but not the cake. I took it home, and it was not right. Every pound cake i ever bought was white with a light yellow color. This was all yellow, like the grocery store cake. I paid over 50 dollars for the smallest cake they had, and it was dry and wrong. The icing was ok but not butter cream. I went out my way to use them, and i had a horrible experience. They tried to blame it on the person who took the order when the icing was wrong, but he was there and said no, i wrote it. They promised the cake was right, but i never had a bright yellow pound before. It was dry and terrible. I wasted my money. I hope this helps the next person. Asked them if their pound is yellow. If so, that's the worst pound on the planet. ?♂️ ?♂️ ?♂️. But if its their yellow still run, it was nasty.

Outside sign states the bakery closes at 7.Sign on the door (which I can't see from the road) says they close at 5.Was turned away at exactly 5:00 even though I drove from Pgh and told them so through the locked door.Do better Keystone.At least change your outside sign so those of us in cars don't have any hope of buying the deliciousness.

the only place to go if you want to be the guy bringing the doughnuts. The only place around that understands “a box of assorted doughnuts”. it’s unbelievable how other places complicate this but here they got it. Try the other items too it’s not just good doughnuts.

This bakery is a staple it is a legendary location with amazing pastries breads and everything unexpected made fresh daily such a good place such good vibes good for you guys keep it coming
Parking: It’s a big parking lot shared in the plaza that has a ton of space
Kid-friendliness: Kids love pastries so I would say yes
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of parking big parking lot never a problem
I love Keystone Bakery. However, when checking out recently in December 2023 one of the women was touching my cookies already placed in the box to determine pricing with another woman at the cash register. No gloves on!! Very unsanitary. A person also shouldn't be touching the cash register/money and handling gloves/cookies at the same time. Please do better for your loyal customers.

This bakery never disappoints! Ordered a cake for my moms birthday like we religiously do for every birthday! I asked for an obnoxious amount of flowers because my family loves to fight over them. They did an amazing job! I didn’t know how it was going to look but they did AMAZING!

Amazing donuts, and the cake we got was pretty good too. Also the cherry turnover was the best I’ve ever eaten. Packed full of cherries and super flakey. We will be back for more (even though we shouldn’t)
