Blond waitress was more interested in talking to her coworkers than serving us even though there she only had a couple of tables occupied. Pizza was ok but a little pricey. Waitress gave us no specials or recommendations.

My wife and I were traveling through on a Sunday evening. The lady at our hotel recommended Sonny's Grille for a great restaurant. We are glad she did! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The meals were wonderful and reasonably priced. Our waitress was very friendly and made us feel very welcome! If you are in Belle Vernon, stop at Sonny's Grille! It is a true asset to the community!

I think it’s cool that this was once a LJS and they were able to utilize the building. Sonny’s Grille had made it their own and it looks amazing! Their food is very good. I got the chili and a taco salad that was fabulous!
They have a dining and bar area that seem to do very well. TV’s on the walls. A little louder in the bar area, but it is separate from the dining area.
My only reason for the 4 stars is I don’t think the server was very attentive. It was busy, but we needed some service. My water wasn’t filled the whole time I was there except the initial cup. I ended up having to drink what was left of my husbands..
Restrooms available. Must go through the bar to get to the restrooms.
Take out/dine in available. Brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert. Accepts reservations. Credit and debit cards accepted.
Beer, wine, cocktails and sports. Happy hour drinks, food at bar, late night food.

Okay! I've been coming here very infrequently since 2004. I'm 67yrs old and have traveled all over this country. I'm an OTR truck driver. I've had crab cakes all over the east coast. Places famous for crab cakes, so I've never had them here because... how could they make crab cakes in Belle Vernon better than in Maryland? Tonight, I decided to try their Crab Cakes....OMG!!! They're are no better crab cakes anywhere!!!! AMAZING!
