I have always been a fan of this place until recently. Your server, I don’t know her name because she came up to our table and said “what can I get you to drink” no personality, no name, no greeting. She has long brown hair and an angel wing tattoo on her wrist and a small word on the back of her arm. We had her the summer of 2024 too, and she was equally as terrible. No refills, no checking in once we got our food to make sure everything was okay or if we needed anything. Just came up to us at the end and said “do you need a box” when we weren’t done eating. I think other servers, such as the young redhead and the tattooed dark hair server was more friendly and said more to us than our actual server. It’s disappointing because this is the sister restaurant of the Back Porch so it’s supposed to meet high expectations. I will say I did get a dessert and it was tasty, my food tasted good except the veggies were very overcooked and slimy. I just hate to spend $20+ on a meal and have terrible service and average quality food. Hopefully you can talk to your servers about introducing themselves, refilling drinks, asking how their food is and if they need anything, and making your guests feel welcome.

I came here because the reviews are next level great. Steph was my expert guide , I told her I was leaning towards one of their burgers and asked for her recommendation. She stated her favorite is the Salmon crunch served with rosemary rice and broccoli. I decided to go with her suggestion. The salmon popped with flavor the honey mustard brought this dish alive. The rosemary rice had just the right amount of herb and the broccoli was delicious and cooked perfectly. Steph made my Makers mark old fashioned which was excellent as well. Save room for dessert because this place is famous for that. The peanut butter melt away pie hit all the right notes for an amazing finish. I grabbed some chocolate kahlua biscotti to enjoy with coffee tomorrow morning and you should too. Stop in for some really good eats and just know, the folks here are wonderful as well.

The fish sandwich was fishy, the Italian sausage sandwich, which was on the special menu was a sad store bought piece of sausage, the chicken fingers were flavorless. The only redeeming factor was the fried Zucchini. The server had zero answers for any questions we had about any of the food. The place was cute but that's about it.
Beautiful cozy restaurant right on the water with delicious food. We were on a road trip and happened upon this restaurant by accident. Our best accident yet. The staff was friendly, the food and dessert was delicious!!
